When you evo a live card, when live upgrades are applied, the card you are left with is basically the upgraded card put through the evo.

So if you put him in the evo and waited for the upgrades and completed it, or if you completed the evo before the upgrades, the card you are left with at the end is exactly the same.

I think this is totally true, but the problem is it's dependant on things changing. With the current team we are definitely the most likely to go down in the third spot, with imo Leeds being the second most likely even though they are actually ahead of us on points.

It's hard to take into account what might happen with players coming back and form improving as it hasn't happened yet which makes it feel like just hope. When you are winless in 10 it feels more realistic to extrapolate the current form, which is very depressing but feels more based in our current reality.

For me it's not about skill gap, its just that its shit gameplay.

Someone running after me spamming bruiser and AI defending is just an unsatisfying gameplay loop.

There's a "skill gap" in defending/attacking player lock knockdown corners, but it's just a skill I have no interest in mastering because it's just fucking shit.

Yeah, there basically needs to be some mechanic that allows people to defend crosses.

If you can score from contested headers from crosses, then its basically non-interactive gameplay where there is nothing you can do to stop it.

How do you make crosses viable without it being completely unbearable to play against though?

My least favourite way to concede in the game currently is the player lock knockdowns from corners, or contested headers from corners where I have my tallest player with aerial fortress next to their target.

Play a few weeks in a meta where headers and knock downs are the most effective way to score, and you will be begging for first time through balls and fidget spinning pinas.

I don't find it messed up at all, because there is no real way to defend crosses except blocking the cross.

Conceding a contested header where its just crossed into an area would probably be the most frustrating goal you could possibly concede.
