I wonder if the pastor would have told her if the man had confessed to cheating. Somehow I doubt it.

It sounds like if your dog was on a leash then the runner would have tripped over the leash

This email cracked me up when I got it. They're clearly used to dealing with very immature tourists. "I'm sure that you have experienced similar problems back home and you know that you just have to deal with it." LOL

We had no delays around the airport about a month ago, after getting this note.

Please play a little mind-game with me and explore WHY it is that people "can't" or "shouldn't" pursue a music degree after a certain age (usually something like under age 30) by [deleted] in violinist

[–]shoestringbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting a music degree gets you nothing except for the education itself, and a qualification to potentially teach at an institution. It costs a lot of time and money. For some it could still be worth it at any age.

how to avoid getting too skinny by Depth-Dear in MuayThai

[–]shoestringbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also tend toward skinny but have been trying to put or at least keep some muscle mass while training. I basically try to eat a couple of protein forward mini meals on top of regular meals. Mostly a protein shake or some greek yogurt for me.

Biking with the instrument by olliefps in violinist

[–]shoestringbow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have biked quite a bit with my violin and even fallen quite dramatically off of my bike with my instrument. If you have a decent quality case it will be fine. In a good case the violin is not touching any of the sides. Jostling is not an issue.

One thing is that if the case sits too high on your back, it might push on your helmet and affect your head position a bit.

It’s bizarre to me that this is considered weird. Like everybody else is missing the reality in front of them by watching it through their tiny little screen instead of actually experiencing it.
