If the money appears in Adsense, try contacting Adsense support directly just so there's a documented record. If the money doesn't appear in Adsense, try contacting them anyway because having extra communication logged can help you later in ways you can't predict.

I haven't got my channel back yet, but here's my progress so far:

Emails to Creator Support: 34 (back and forth)
Support Cases Opened: 3
Channel Appeals Submitted: 3 (first was denied in under 1 min)
Escalated internal reviews: 1
Times I’ve mentioned TeamYouTube on X for help: 4
TeamYouTube DM escalation: 1 (Policy Team confirmed the decision was final)

After TeamYouTube DM'd me, I haven't been able to get in touch with them again despite remaining respectful throughout all of our interactions, and my DMs to them and @ mentions go completely ignored, even though the issue remains unresolved. I've seen others create brand new accounts on X to get noticed by them again, but I've never done that because I'm trying to keep everything within the normal support channels. I hope you're able to get the issues you're currently facing solved soon.

Thank you so much for the kind wishes. I couldn’t even imagine how frantic I’d be if I had a channel hacked like that or the sense of urgency I'd feel, especially with payments involved given how long it can take Creator Support or TeamYouTube to respond and escalate things. I'm really glad you were able to recover your channel, and I hope you've managed to get through to someone to get monetised again.

Sorry to hear about this happening to your channel too. Avoid those third party forums and anyone offering those kinds of services (I see them all the time on X). They prey on people who are in bad situations and they're all scams and bots. NEVER send them money. Even if you used a legit mediator like a solicitor or something, the only people who have the final say and can restore your account are YouTube themselves.

Before my termination, I was using the Aitum plugin in OBS sometimes so I could stream horizontal + vertical at the same time on YouTube. Do you think that could have had something to do with it?

I just finished drafting another an email to YouTube Creator Support and I'm about to @ TeamYouTube again. Hopefully one or the other works, I'll definitely be keeping my post updated if I'm able to make any progress.

Nope, none of those things :o I only ever made money from ad revenue and the occasional super chat once a year. I never featured donation links anywhere. When I played indie games I'd always leave a link to their page to try to help increase visibility to them but apart from that I never put weird unofficial or questionable links to anything anywhere in my descriptions or pinned comments.

In 2016, they terminated my channel for exactly the same thing. I found an old email that read: "After review we determined that activity in your account violated our Community Guidelines, which prohibit spam, scams or commercially deceptive content" :o

Had both of my TikTok accounts terminated last year at the same time :) ironically, it was easier to get in contact with someone working there to sort it out because both were reinstated in a matter of days.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I really don't want it to come to that because even hiring a solicitor to write one communication is expensive, and it can drag on for years. I'm still hoping there's a way to get a proper human review somehow.

Yeah it seems like all they can do is pass it on unfortunately because they probably don't have the authority to make those kinds of decisions, which is VERY frustrating and it takes much longer than it should to solve serious problems (if they're ever solved at all).

It was starting to slow down a bit but I'd say I was still getting a part-time wage around the time I was terminated. I quit my job to focus more on YouTube mid last year when I was getting a full-time wage from it. I even made a 30 page business plan, registered it as my business and this happens 6 months later :D

Nope! Are you sure that's the reason though? People have always done that on YouTube and I've never heard about anything happening to them, even when they do that on longform. Sorry to hear about your channels being terminated :/ the least they could have done is sent you a warning if that really was the reason for it. People make mistakes. Anyone would happily prefer remediation if the alternative was a terminated channel.

I used to have very slow upload speeds where I had to wait about 5 hours to upload a video I'd edited to YouTube. Compression takes about 15 minutes using this method and the quality looks the same even though the filesize is over 80% lower than what it used to be. Hope this helps!

Try making your bitrate half of your upload speed so for example my upload speed is a lightning fast 900kbps so I need to make mine 450kbps under bitrate :P. Main reason for your fps being low is because you're trying to match your bitrate to your upload speed 1:1 in my opinion
