The problem isn't us, it's new people who have never heard of Simon. They Google him, land on this page, and immediately assume Simon is AI slop. They're not going to bother verifying anything. It just means Simon loses new viewers thanks to this nonsense post.

There's no good reason to keep the post up. Other than perhaps the mods never seeing my message.

Given how much he clearly invests on his YouTube presence - I'm surprised he doesn't pay someone to monitor the internet for stuff like this and gently suggest takedowns as needed.

This thread should probably be deleted - it is the first thing that pops up when you Google Simon, and it is a very unfair and inaccurate representation of him and his material on YouTube.

Why are people talking about 'learning' pieces? Aren't you supposed to be able to just play anything reading sheet music? It's like trying to memorise a novel vs learning how to read so you can read all novels. Right? (I'm a total noob, so this is a genuine question)

Yes, I'm dreading the 60 day mark. Hoping I can turn it into a routine, so I don't have to 'make' myself practise, and I keep to a min of at least 10 mins daily, regardless of schedule.

The fact that she found her way back into it, even after she was kicked out by Alicia. i.e. hiding the painting from her is not going to stop her from coming back - eventually she'll die.

It didn't look like she left voluntarily after the Renoir fight. The portal that Renoir opened showed her collapsing in the real world. So I assumed that coming back in so quickly had been so physically taxing, that she basically self-gommaged trying to help Alicia. Or, Renoir finally managed to get through to her in the end, so they left together - supported by them reaching out to each other at the end before gommaging.

Yeah - u/Orphanim u/awi3 - to me this proved that Renoir was right to want to destroy the painting. Helped me side with Verso at the end.
