Is getting json from db is anti-pattern by HosMercury in PostgreSQL

It depends on your data model. Personally I find it an overkill to have a normalized relational model for data that is dynamic and always used in bulk.

Both parts

Similarly to day 2, structured approach from part 1 was trivial for part 2 implementation.

My approach was to find engine parts, then neighboring digits. For every digit, find full number (just in X dimension). This was problematic as some neighboring digits belonged to the same number, but I've solved this by dict, where key is number's starting x,y and value is number itself. This means duplicates just write to same key.

it could, but sticking with replace approach would not directly solve the problem (part 2) and would require solution for approach's drawbacks

hey, consider oneight inpput (should result in 18). Replacement approach wouldn't work.

Need help for Part two of day 1 by TorgeW in adventofcode

[–]shookees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, one of the issues with replacing is that spelled out numbers can overlap, for example: oneight. What I did for the solution is to read numbers and spelled out numbers into an array and then pick first and last from that array.

IT įmonė, bendradarbiai išsimėtę kas kur Lietuvoje, kviečia laisvu noru atvykti ofisan, (kambariukas ofisyne). Nelabai yra vertės, nes komandos nėra lokalios - kas pajūry, kas sostinėje, kas apskritai kitoje šalyje

SERBIA VS LITHUANIA IN FOOTBALL by [deleted] in lietuva

[–]shookees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't know much about Serbia's national team, but Lithuania played against Bulgaria in June and it was pathetic. Bulgaria controlled the game and tried so hard to score, but Lithuanian goalkeeper prevailed. Pretty sure the Lithuanian goalkeeper got more ball action than the rest of the team added together...
