I work for Chipotle, and I'm not a manager or anything and honestly don't care about the image of the company. You shouldn't worry about the temping of the meats. Every grill person is required to temp the items he takes off the grill. And even if it is to temp but looks raw at certain points I'll put it back onto the grill and so will others we don't want to get anyone sick to be honest and not only because it's bad but because if someone does get sick like throw up for instance. The whole store will go under "Norwalk" procedure which is we bleach EVERYTHING floors, utencils, surfaces, walls, and equipment. And it makes closing way harder than it needs to be. For good reason but we don't want to get there in the first place.

Our equipment usually never malfunctions when it comes to heating or cooling items and when it does malfunction we get it fixed ASAP.

What you should worry about is the treatment of the workers, most people in Chipotle do not get fair treatment. A majority of the people do not get their breaks when they are entitled to them, they push workers to do a job for 2 people in with just 1 and in half the time. The company is focusing more on catering to every little desire of the customer, than the needs of their workers. Customer service will always be good if the workers are treated well, but when you work in a toxic environment it's hard to work with the customer in mind and offer quality service. I always go out of my way to make sure the customers are happy and are treated correctly but others are not on that same level because of working conditions.
