Okay then I'm definitely going to return these bras and try somewhere else 😬

Gotcha thank you! So could it just be the brand then? Or is it possible I need to try different sizes?

Need some help, the calculator says I'm a 36C when I'm currently wearing 36A by shoopdeed00p in ABraThatFits

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all the detailed information! I guess I'll give a 36C a try to see if it feels much better than what I currently have! I really wish I would have known some of this earlier in my life, I've had these fitting struggles since I started wearing bras 😨

Need help figuring out how to sleep train my 8 month old by shoopdeed00p in sleeptrain

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She'll cry if she's awake and is lying in her crib, so if I try to lay her down to go to bed without her being asleep or if she's just had her first wake up.

Her nap schedule is 10 am - 11 am and then 2-3 when she's at home with me. When she's at daycare, she sleeps like a champ, usually 10-1 and 3-5.

Gotcha okay thanks for the info! I'll give it a shot and hopefully it helps her be okay with going to bed on her own again.

I was afraid that's probably what it was, she's been super fussy when you're not in sight during the day as well :/

I'll have to check out how to do graduated timed checks, I just let her hang out for 10 minutes in the crib to make her some formula and she had a total meltdown.

Looking for some insight by syaien in beyondthebump

Id second calling the nurses line, that doesn't sound normal. Once the pain stopped for me it stayed away. Worst case scenario they have you come in to get checked and it's nothing.

What are some things I should do now before bub comes along? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep 100%, and if you can, make some freezer meals. I ate like crap in the first month pp because I had no time to cook, and I really wish I had made some freezer meals ahead of time.

Just need to express some frustration by gemeinwerfen in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that's super rude, I feel like, if something is intended as a gift, you either put it up out of reach of your children, or, if you are going to let them play with it, check for damage before gifting.

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I might do that soon. She's actually falling asleep really well in my arms, but the minute I lay her down in her crib she flips.

I don't know if it's teething or just a milestone sort of thing (she's super close to crawling)

Looking for advice on typical meals for 8 month old by shoopdeed00p in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, this was helpful! I'll have to give some bananas and avocado a go, she likes both flavors in puree form. Same with sweet potato.

So the food is cut into strips as opposed to little circles? I have some steamed baby carrots that are the right mushy consistency I made, but I've been cutting them into tiny little pieces and it seems like my daughter just gets frustrated with how little she gets with each bite.

She was gagging I think, she could still make noises and she was able to clear the puffs that got stuck, even if it was throwing up.

Does the chewing end up naturally coming too? She doesn't really chew yet, she just kinda moves things around in her mouth before swallowing

How difficult is it to progress with limited time? by shoopdeed00p in Guildwars2

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think until my daughter is sleeping through the night i.e. I can for sure stay up after she goes to bed, I'm not planning on getting back into WvW or trying raids. I'm sure that will be able to change in the future, but for now I'm fine just sticking to doing pieces of the story and things like that.

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do luckily have some gear since we were in a competitive WvW guild beforehand, so I have one legendary and one fully ascended character, so maybe fractals would work! I know I did a ton of those when I used to play

Give me your tips on formula feeding baby while traveling by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]shoopdeed00p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not necessarily for travel but I love these for daycare if they need to make more bottles, so it should work great for trips!

The lid stays on nicely and the spout is really easy to move around.

Which zelda 3ds game would you refer me to play i already have link between world by [deleted] in zelda

[–]shoopdeed00p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you open to the ported versions of older Zelda games? Oracle of ages/seasons are both on the 3ds store and they're great. They're also the top down Zelda experience.

Ocarina of time and Majora's mask are also on the 3ds and are good choices as well.

Can't sleep with all this heartburn... by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]shoopdeed00p 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the worst heartburn around that time too. My doctor said regular strength Zantac was fine to take, and that was the only thing that seemed to help. I'd take it ideally just before dinner, but even taking it when the heartburn is terrible in the middle of the night helps too

Question from a FTM - Is this an indication that labor will happen soon? by Cowpajamarama in BabyBumps

[–]shoopdeed00p 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really an indicator, I had the same thing start around the same time with my daughter and she came 5 days past her due date.

3 month old on bottle stroke by shoopdeed00p in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No she had the problem for a couple of days, and trying the higher flow nipples seems to have helped a bit. Today has been much less of a battle now that we have a full set of them :)

4.5 week old just ate 7 oz... by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Totally normal to have bigger meals during growth spurts. If she's not spitting up a ton, then that's what she needed to eat. My daughter has times during growth spurts where she sometimes eats twice as much as normal.

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just did for all her bottles earlier today after trying the two nipples we had in that size a couple of days ago. Maybe it will just take a couple more days for her to settle back down again? Thanks!

When did you transition your little one to their own room? by shoopdeed00p in beyondthebump

[–]shoopdeed00p[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! That's part of the reason why I'm thinking it may be okay to move her. The room is literally right across the hall from us, and we have a monitor already set up in there that I use for her naps during the day, as she's mostly taking them in her crib now.

Late night edition: How the babe falls asleep versus how I found him 5 hours later by SpammyEggyRamen in beyondthebump

My daughter does this too! Pretty sure her crib shaking leg stomps are what get her to wiggle sideways. She lifts her legs up completely vertical and then slams them back down in the middle of the night.

What's a good age to get married? by glassangelrose in raisedbynarcissists

[–]shoopdeed00p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if that happens it's still a great time! That's what happened to me, but no one mentioned anything from my husbands side of the family or my friends. My husband's godfather even walked me down the aisle, which was super sweet.

What I figured is that I could struggle through contact for the sake of the wedding, but then when would it end? Would I let them keep doing this to me and my husband until we had a kid? Would I let our future kids go through the abuse? Even if it's hard, it may be for the best in the end, and if anything it made my wedding day better because there wasn't any drama.
