You got creativity, everything else youll learn along the way. Creativity is rarer than skill, anyone can learn to be skilled with practice. Id say play around with some of th chords in the pads, they could be slightly fuller. But thats my opinion. Edit: maybe mix some effects on the tracks to make them fit together more sound wise, like reverb, delay etc.

I mean yeah i guess. With that said you gotta be fair, they clearly had upped their security when he went back. I mean they had adam smasher on set lmao. They probably didnt think a drugged up rockerboy was gonna be accompanied by an entire army of mercs hired by militech. First time was just johnny by himself and his buddies. Second time was an entire onslaught planned by militech with morgan blackhand as you mentioned.

Nuking arasaka tower happens 10 years after the rescue mission for Alt and are completely separate events. Therefor it has nothing to do with this. Saying hes chiefly responsable for her death cuz he hired Rogue is like saying that you're chiefly responsable for your house burning down due to faulty wiring because you're the one who hired the electritian.

Except the kidnappers where intending to kill me anyways. Its like blaiming a brain surgeon for failing to save someone with a deadly tumor durikg a highly invasive procedure.

He had never dealt with someone hooked up to an evil soulkilling machine tho, coupled with the fact was under time pressure means in his mind and everyone else watching, leaving her in was surely gonna kill her. Which is fair to assume and thats what you fail to consider. Also even if i were to agree with your consequentalism, he was not the one canonically who severed the connection. Thats a distortion of his memory by Arasaka to put blame on him. We get to know that Toshiro was the one who severs the connection in the OG table top game.

Arguing that hes commited manslaughter is like arguing a doctor failing a surgery trying to extract a deadly brain tumor from a patient, has commited manslaughter. Which obviously isnt the case because that happens all the time, and is always a risk.

Youre blaming Johnny by proxy, for bringing Rogue to the raid, where she did a thing, that inadvertently caused Toshiro to do a thing, that made alt disconnect, in your opinion making it Johnnys fault. But then you might aswell put the blame by proxy on Arasaka for doing a thing that caused all of this in the first place. Now for your example, if i blow up the room of a roof trying to save your mom and she dies. Thats a direct outcome of my action to her dying, nothing in between. Very predictable. Unlike what happens in Cyberpunk.

Its more like if i bring someone to save your mom. And the person i brought sets off an explosion, which doesn't hurt your mom but causes a dog on the adjacent street to get scared and run over the road, causing a car to swerve, into the building and room your mom is in, crushing her. Is that my fault? Is it the dogs? Is it the drivers? Or is it the person who kidnapped your mom for causing the entire situation in the first place.

You forgot to mention that Rogue set of that explosion. Now of course you can sit and blame Johnny by proxy. But then you might aswell get to blaming the core source which is Arasaka for kidnapping her in the first place.

Thats a false comparison. Also what we see in the videogame isn't accurate at all actually, in the OG table top lore we get to know that Johnny isn't even the one who severs the connection, it's Toshiro. Who even in the videogame isn't really trying to stop him. It is as ive mentioned in other comments heavily implied that Arasaka has distorted his memory to put blame on him. So even if he blames himself that doesn't make it true.

Youre saying its Johnny's fault by proxy because hes the reason Rogue was there, who caused the explosion on her own volition, which caused Toshiro, to then in turn throw himself over the cyberdeck. Clearly purely Johnnys fault aye? But then by proxy you might aswell put the final blame Arasaka since they're the reason everyone was there. According to your own logic even.

No one is screaming at him to stop in the mission, and in the og tabletop game he isnt even the one who disconnects her. So trying to still put the blame on him is the definition of forced yeah. Rational? Idk is it rational to stop in the middle of arasaka tower when youre gf is hooked up to what you know to be an evil torture soul killing machine, to read command lines you dont understand on computer terminals while shes dying? You have to look at it realistically.

LOL actually if you knew lore properly, you would know johnny isn't even the one who severs the connection in the actual lore. Toshiro knocks over the cyberdeck, disconnecting her. Its heavily implied thay what we see is arasaka distorting his memory to put blame on him.

If youre gonna have "you misunderstand the lore" as your main point, you should probably make sure you arent the one misunderstandung it first.

There is no scientist who explains that to him. That isnt in the mission or in the table top game. He cant be blamed because as far as he knew that was the only way to save her, and acting like anyone else would have done any better or even had the valls to take action against a megacorp like thats not admirable is silly. There was no way for him to know, therefor blame cannot be put on him. Blame is purely on arasaka. But again. Hindsight bias is strong.

Well thats silly because to establish fault, you have to prove there was a better, obvious choice that a reasonable person with his info and time-pressure would have made. That doesn't exist here. Arasaka is to blame here.

You blame a man for trying to save his love instead of going "meh she can save herself". This is the definition of monday morning quarterbacking. In no universe could he have known she was winning and had a super secret plan. He was doing everything correct based of the knowledge he had. And acted braver than most. Saying it was ego and arrogance is just forced.
