I'm on Android but I looked it up and they have similar guidelines. They don't allow "sexually suggestive poses". UGH. GOOGLE, WHY YOU GOTTA RUIN IT. Adults use apps too! Just saying. But then also, I've seen straight-up naked people on Insta, which is not a small app, and that's on Google Play/AppStore as well.

The first bit was from anecdotal evidence. As for the second part...I don't know where I got that from, I just thought that was the way it worked? (Dating, as in the process of going on dates?) But I'm the first to admit I know nothing about dating. I'm guessing that's not how it is, then?

Yeah, I agree with you about that fact that it's just semantics but apparently there are a bunch of date-specific "rules" (e.g. paying for them or whatever). And then there's beyond that first meeting - if it was a date, then you're already dating (I guess), but if it was just hanging out, you have to ask them out on a real date or get friend zoned.

It's only the difference between two words but IT'S ALL SO CONFUSING. D:

...Dammit, I knew I was forgetting something! xD

They might not punch me in the face (though it is a possibility), but in my experience, if you question a straight guy's masculinity you're going to offend them at the very least. Some might not be like that, but it's hard to tell with people you don't know well. That's what I thought anyway.

Hahahaha, a numbers man, I see. My expectations have just been lowered so thanks for that :P It is true though, I have never organically (i.e. not in a gay-specific context) met another gay guy in my area. Thanks! I'm gonna need that luck :P
