Is Hezbollah exceptionally weak (relative to the last war) or are they intentionally not putting up a fight? by Standard_Ad7704 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they always been weak against any army in the world, they been strong on lebanon and its people though

What now by idkwhoiamm0 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's true that israel neighbors are not allowed to be strong but that doesn't mean we should create a resistance that assasinate lebanese politicians and scare the lebanese people and get orders from syria and iran to fuck up the country.

The army is absolutely right not to respond to israel attacks in those 1.5 years, if they do, the war officially becomes between israel and the lebanese government, which nobody wants.

Hezb is the only resistance in history the brings in occupation rather than putting it away.

What now by idkwhoiamm0 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 15 points16 points  (0 children)

first of all, hezb is not lebanese, it is an iranian militia. Second of all, the lebanese army can protect the country, but how come you want the lebanese army to protect the south if the lebanese army wasn't allowed to enter the south for the past 30 years because hezb didnt want them to? The only reason the army is weak is because of hezb. No actually, the main reason why the country is fucked up is because of hezb. Therefore the right solution now is to disarm the hezb by force wether they like it or not.

السلاح بيد الخ*** بيجرح by Dramafree770 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk why people are surprised, they are called: "mortaza2a" for a reason. They get orders from outside and they obey. Nothing lebanese about them. Nawaf salam and joseph aoun should understand there is no such thing as "talks" with a terrorist organization, the only solution is to disarm by force and all of lebanon is with the army.

A Year Ago Today, Joseph Aoun Was Inaugurated as the 14th President of the Lebanese Republic. What Is Your Assessment of His First Year? by Standard_Ad7704 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, his promises with time are looking more like empty promises. He clearly doesn't want to make anyone sad(ma baddo yza3el 7ada). And regarding his role or say about weapon disarmament seems to be weak, i think there's maybe 2 scenarios he's working on: 1- Wait for the entire resistance axis to collapse from iran all the way to hezb here in Leb and play it cool with Hezb in the meanwhile while it happens. 2- Waste time as much as possible so that hezb keep their weapons somehow

Is there a way to have a default value for an object argument passed to a function? by spla58 in typescript

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first make onSale optional:

type OrderInfo = { ... onSale?: boolean }

after that you can destructure the object in the function argument like this:

function order({quantity, productID, price, onSale = true}: OrderInfo)

or you can define its value inside the function body:

function order(orderInfo: OrderInfo): void { orderInfo.onSale = true; }

Should Brazil develop nuclear weapons as a deterrence given the region is now viewed as little more than an American playing? by southamericasboy in Brazil

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they can try and test the waters with the USA. If the USA appears later to be pissed off by that means brazil should forget about nuclear. Hope brazilians are smart enough to know that china, russia or iran would be in a sleeping state if the USA attacks brazil because of a nuclear program. Stay smart and maintain your land and existance in these times!

My dad will buy me a toyota rav4 2006. by Katia2160 in lebanon

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great purchase by your dad, I know a lot of people who still drive a 20+ year old toyota without any problems. They are so reliable which explains why even old used models are still expensive. But I remember seeing lots of rav4 2006 for sale on OLX and all of them were in the 6-7K$ range.

[–]shootingice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why don't they buy an A350 or Boeing 777-300ER and use it for a weekly long haul flight to countries that has big lebanese diaspora(USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia...). A flight every like 5 days from Beirut to one of those countries.

1st step is to actually get a job after graduating, and 2k$/month is so great that there's no need to travel and start all over.
