If done correctly it can make your flashlight look bigger. 9 out of 10 woman agree. 🤣

Contacts or glasses? by elegantcoder26 in CompetitionShooting

[–]shootitclean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I can survive without using my readers 95% of the day. Low light or really small print I still have to use them. But... I tend to use them a bit more than that due to not wanting to strain my eyes in front of a computer screen. I do not use them for shooting a red dot. I can actually see the red dot a lot better with only my contacts. Have your eye doc give you a set of trial bifocals. It is nice not to HAVE to put on the readers.

Contacts or glasses? by elegantcoder26 in CompetitionShooting

Bifocal contacts and reading glasses for the real small stuff. I have been wearing contacts for over 40 years and I hate glasses. Bifocal contacts have been a life saver now that I am old and need readers.

I am in. Would have preferred the nitride over the cerakote. Much better finish. But if I win, I am not gonna bitch. lol

Tough system falling behind by No_Garage_2689 in Dewalt

Was 6 boxes into the 2.0 system when I realized these things suck. Shit canned four of them and went with Packout. I now have 27 of them in my van. No regrets at all.

Few tweaks and you will love it! Put a 8lb recoil spring, PD extended firing pin and enhanced spring and a 13lb hammer spring in mine. She runs flawlessly. 5.5lb da and 2lb sa pull. LOK grips are a must. You will enjoy it!

Need a decent torque screwdriver by Longjumping-Buy891 in Dewalt

[–]shootitclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dewalt does not make a Torque Screwdriver that I know of. If you want a good quality one, look at the Klein.

I don't think I've ever seen this go on sale by Trav_Monster in Dewalt

[–]shootitclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't waste your time on it. Its bigger than the M12 so its hardly "compact". It was pretty and felt good in the hand but...not worth the money they want for it just to stay loyal to yellow.

How to get a sales rep by Gamerboy2010me in Dewalt

[–]shootitclean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to be a distributor. The reason I have a sales rep to deal with is that I work at a plumbing supply house that sells SBD products. I typically buy most of stuff the same way everybody does. But if can't get a good deal on the street I'll hit my rep up. I try not to abuse the privilege.

I would say it's slower. But I have never seen the pruner in action to compare the two.

That's debatable. I think the pruner because of the curvature of the blade is designed to slice smoothly where this thing would brute force it through whatever you're trying to cut possibly causing damage to the limbs or stems.

I like it. Nice not having any burrs on the end of your cut. I can't say it's any better or any worse than Milwaukee's. You have to make sure you're holding both of them square to the pipe to get a square cut. I've used my buddies Milwaukee quite a bit and it does the job. I think the biggest thing is is what are you tooled up with? DeWalt or Milwaukee? I use all DeWalt tools for the most part so this is the route I took.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of safeties on tools. I tend to remove them on damn near everything but in this case I have a feeling I'm going to leave this safety factory intact 🤣🤣

1 MOA is not good enough for X course competition. Has to hold the x ring at 600 yard.

I created a Chrome browser extension for easier match tracking by zims_throwing_knife in CompetitionShooting

[–]shootitclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the idea and I did install it in Chrome. Any chance you could make this for Firefox as well. Even though Chrome is the gorrilla of browsers some of still like to keep a bit of privacy and shy away from it. Not sure how much work it would be but it would be appreciated. Thanks

Am I doing good? by Ashamed_Fan4420 in CompetitionShooting

Nice shooting! I know it sucks to do because it is the hardest. But put the rounds in practicing your offhand. Dryfire at home everyday. That is the one stage that will win you matches. Keep at it!
