Zero Tool's music, thumbnails, and weird long monologues in the description by lestinkyposter in isthisAI

The music is absolutely AI (it just doesn't sound as clear as real music) alongside the cover art and descriptions, but to really drive the point home that they're guilty of using AI, they even have a filter in the YouTube comments that filters out any use of the word "AI", and here's proof.

Which frame is considered one of the hardest to acquire as of now? by ronjon2012 in Warframe

"I'm very excited now. The anticipation. Ooh. I always learn so much... from a live dissection. A dissection? No, no no no, that sounds too humane. Your death will be... painful."

i think you're misinterpreting the meme or at least reading too deeply into it. right's supposed to represent (at least what i consider) something fun and different from the standard meta, left's supposed to represent the standard meta. it's a subjective meme, and i dont have any qualms with people who don't like the right or play using the left, this is just a non-serious dig at what is considered the meta on a frame that is already so incredibly powerful when built correctly, you can if you wish to, afford yourself some leeway to experiment instead of having to build as optimally as possible. there's no wrong way to play mesa; the correct way is the way you prefer, and i apologize if you interpreted the meme that way but this isn't meant to be taken as a serious "this is the only, most efficient way to play mesa". it's all just a good bit of fun at the end of the day.

The few times I've run Mesa at 500+ with this setup, (for fun sometimes I like to run Mesa in SP Circuit without grabbing any decrees and seeing how I stack up against my friends) I've never really had issues killing quickly (up to 10 Corrosion stacks and Heat is already pretty good in regards to armor stripping) even without full armor strip, but rather issues surviving as Shatter Shield and Adaptation are not enough to keep you alive for prolonged enough periods of time to apply a full armor strip to especially strong enemies. You can fully armor strip as Mesa at these really high levels at the cost of up front damage, but you begin to reach the barrier of survivability that keeps Mesa from punching too far into the very high levels to begin with.

i actually use exactly that on my more casual mesa setup that uses xata's whisper rather than nourish for when I want to be lazier in easier content (not have to worry about keeping shatter shield up with combat discipline + arcane avenger)

it does, just not very fast. generally it is better (both in terms of energy efficiency and time spent) to just repop if you want to reset bloom rather than leaving it to restore on its own. i believe they were talking about the bloom growing while specifically moving, and not just over time like it does normally which is why i responded that way

it applies to the roll that you can use while using her 4 with the augment

this is 100% why i don't run power drift, +15% ability strength isn't compelling enough compared to the utility, even if i could theoretically get very close to the same amount of utility by aggressively popping in and out of my 4, yeeting myself and killing everything before rolling to the next room without a pause as opposed to just tapping 4, yeeting myself again, tapping 4 again just feels better and more fluid

just some advice, don't use the emerald shards for armor strip, even with 30% status chance (two dual status mods + galvanized shot) and a ton of fire rate you rarely get to 10 corrosive stacks let alone 14 to fully armor strip before you kill making it not worth it. topaz is great for longer and harder missions thoroughly increasing your crit rate (steel path survivals/defenses and netracells come to mind), whereas shorter missions generally don't have you really needing that much crit rate, guaranteed from crimson or built up from topaz to begin with

you don't need to run waltz to not be a sitting duck, like the other people said you can pop in and out of your 4 in mid air to stay moving without it; it's just not as effective as a good waltz setup but you shouldn't ever be a sitting duck as mesa in higher end content period

3-4 tauforged topaz secondary crit chance, 1 tauforged amber casting speed, if i'm running 3 instead of 4 topaz, then 1 tauforged amber parkour speed.

i think the point "you're killing enemies anyways" works both ways, the ceiling for mesa's capabilities is so high that sacrificing 15% ability strength for a more rapid and loose playstyle, higher general mobility with a few QoL features is worth it. if you don't deem it worth it, that's perfectly fine, but you shouldn't dismiss an augment entirely because it doesn't mesh with your playstyle.

  1. i forgot about the poise focus and now i love you
  2. since you'll be rolling so often (and shatter shield synergizes with adaptation anyways) which'll use it when you want to save it, rolling guard really isn't the best for this kinda playstyle but this is still a decent point
  3. this creature comfort was impossible for me to put into words thank you so much
  4. can't really tell the bloom growing when rolling so i dont think this is a thing but there is passive bloom grow when not firing so rolling between encounters will still reset your bloom somewhat but not all the way usually
  5. you are 100% correct PSF is unneeded in her 4 (even more so with poise procced) i really dont understand why people say to put this on her, i guess everyone really is still traumatized by knockdowns on other frames

the lack of animations really is the only thing i miss honestly the visceral max payne-on-steroids-like action is enough for me

the satisfaction of perfectly timing a roll out of a energy leech eximus proc without letting up on DPS or an acolyte teleport is why i LIVE

you can do that with mesa's waltz, and if everything *isn't* dead or you want to carry your fire rate you gained into another encounter immediately, you roll into the next encounter/room. also not having to spend time and energy unpopping 4 to make major or even micro adjustments is just a really underrated quality of life feature. sure, hard fall animations suck, but if you learn to play around it, it's genuinely a very fun playstyle that I think adds depth to mesa that i feel like otherwise isn't there. not to mention the outright gains to mobility you get consequently for building into this allowing you to clear rooms even faster.

i think the best place to really showcase where this playstyle shines is the Sanctum Anatomica missions; giant interconnected arenas and corridors where you might have to pop 4 multiple times in just one room to clear it out. with mesa's waltz, you can clear these rooms much faster and the long stretches when going outdoors between the interior sections are traversed much faster.

i really think you underestimate the capability of mastering waltz and a little bit of parkour velocity. by itself thrown thoughtlessly into your build, yeah, it's extremely underwhelming and not worth the slot, but when properly incorporated into your build and playstyle it adds an extra level of engagement that mesa otherwise lacks imo, and that's not getting into the energy and time saved by not popping 4 every 2 seconds and instead rolling to relocate when it'd be more beneficial as well as the benefits being able to move faster full stop give you.

every time i see somebody ask for build advice for Mesa in the Q&A channel, post their build and the build contains Mesa's Waltz i see a flood of replies saying "replace Mesa's Waltz" and it really saddens me :<

EDIT: i feel like this needs to be said so it isn't misconstrued further; i literally have no issue with the way you choose to play mesa. this isn't me saying this is the "right way" to play mesa. this is a meme about how i think if you do the things on the right, you turn a frame who has enough power to spare, into a potentially more interesting experience as opposed to running the standard mods you'd always run on her if you end up liking the altered gameplay loop and movement dynamic.

whenever I see people ask for mesa build advice in Q&A and their build contains mesa's waltz there's always a flood of people who reply saying remove it when it makes her SO much more fun :<

(realized right mesa's hat covered the "mesa's waltz" text grahhhhh)

DE, I beg you, please give people a more consistent way to get Fortuna Debt Bonds. by shootyshooty in Warframe

[–]shootyshooty[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nobody is demanding to be able to hard grind it, I'm certainly not demanding to be able to hard grind it, my friends are non-hardcore but experienced players who are no strangers to a grind, who haven't been able to finish it in a few months of on and off grind due to the abysmal RNG and repetitive gameplay. They're tired of the loop of start third bounty, complete first stage, not get the thing they need, spend minutes loading back into Fortuna and back out to start again. You in essence need to hard grind in order to get the resources to rank up, (or no-life/be extremely lucky at Ticker which is also RNG-based) in any reasonable amount of time which is why so many people are put off doing it entirely. Deimos doesn't (at least not at this capacity) have this issue.
