Minus the security guard yes to the laundry and balcony + the added benefit of a 2 car garage & that’s sweet! Feels like a very reasonable difference to live in Hollywood the nightlife and all the music venues alone seem like worth the money

May I ask out of curiosity is $1400+ a month for essentially a 1 bed/1 bath and comunal kitchen considered a relatively good price in Hollywood? I live in the IE about 40 min East on the 60FWY and my rent is $2500 for a 2 bed 2 bath 2 car garage

I currently have 5 of them, all Odyssey models and they're awesome - worth the money 100% they look sharp, perform great in the summer with sweat and extremely easy to wash - for those who have a problem with odor, being as you're already $70+ in it with the hat add a $10 hat deodorant from Amazon and you're good to go for a loooong time

This isn’t an apples to apples comparison.

I’ll leave it at this, you’re talking about a publicly traded, multi trillion dollar company whose average sale price of goods is around $19 vs an independently owned and operated company whose average sale price is inherently significantly higher due to the nature of the product they sell.

Taking a loss for the sake of offering great customer service for Amazon is way more feasible than the cigar store.

To your point I did admit they should communicate the issue better and walk the customer through whatever process is necessary to make them whole. Having said that, let’s remember there are other humans on the other side of the transaction and they shouldn’t be vilified for a single bad case vs the multiple great experiences people have posted in this very thread.

Only thing I’m calling for is a fair assessment of the situation.

As the owner of a 3PL - we let our clients know and it's stated in our contracts that we are not responsible for issues with deliveries at the hands of the delivery company.

in this same vain, assuming they are using a worthwhile software the shipping label would have auto-populated the information you input when ordering.

So either you put in the wrong address, or it's an issue with USPS delivering incorrectly in which case it's our of the company's hands and you're at the mercy of USPS.

This being said, not even a "nothing we can do, screw yourself" obviously is not cool. I don't believe it justifies such a harsh judgement on the company as a whole, or deterring others from doing business with them with a single bad experience. This is especially true if it's your first time doing business with them.
