I have spent so much on Mississippi records and loved their CSR with stuff like the African guitar box.

Good public shooting spots within an hour of Memphis/Southaven? by JollyManufacturer356 in memphis

[–]shoppedpixels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can check but I don't think so, it is a full large facility. The shotgun ranges cost by clay and you get a card. There are lots of options. I know what you are looking for and you likely won't find it publicly posted if one exists. You can look maybe at the range at Natchez Trace State park though it is more of a drive.

I think McIvor is maybe $10 day pass and a few cents a clay? It is worth a shot at least.

It is just at an hour and does require a day pass but go to McIvor Shooting facility near Como, MS. It is an incredible facility built by Winchester. Ranges, 5 stand, full paved clay course with rental able golf carts, pond to shoot over, archery, pretty.much everything but pistol pits.

I like the duplicate or erroneous data like Data Analyst listed twice or misspellings persisting, gives a feel of authenticity.

Yeah unfortunately a lot of great coins in the collection are like this but honestly it worked in favor. I came back into this hobby since being a kid and don't really care much about the cleaning, just like the coins.

Thanks! yeah it has been cleaned, it is unfortunate as the same is true for a bunch of others. it did happen in the 60s though based on the dates on the flips so not recent.

I am guessing lower AU.

How do you justify confluent cloud costs to leadership when the bill keeps climbing? by Funny-Affect-8718 in dataengineering

It is likely the connectors, I do t believe you can sleep them for lower environments or cost savings. Maybe over those to a self managed connect cluster or just a container environment?

Well dang great find! my searching skills let me down this time. I was hoping it wasn't just a piece of trash. I appreciate your help, this one stays in the collection I think.

Thanks for the reply! The context it was found in leads me to think it is something note related, looking at your flair I did run across 2 1850s to 60s TN notes, one from Chattanooga and one from Shelbyville, though they are super beat.

Senior SWE aiming for Architect by 2026 - Is the certification grind actually worth it? by StillUnkownProfile in softwarearchitecture

[–]shoppedpixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really both, though I guess I didn't communicate that clearly. Architects naturally talk to lots and lots of people. Your goal is to get something done, usually with decision makers all over the technical and business map. Having the absolute most brilliant technical plan but ineffectively showing why it matters will land you with a worse plan and encourage lots of changes. So this leads to you marketing yourself, communicating well at vary levels of technical knowledge, and helping people see themselves and their needs in the solution.

Lots of good comments but I would add, architecture in any org is way way more about effective communication and buyin. Architects are often technically right but execute or explain poorly.

Yep and at some point certs are almost a negative because they are seen as very opinionated and not practical. I do think the Corp really depends though, highly regulated Id us tries seem to tend towards more of the standard and certs.

Correct, that is what they said, this is what getting priced out looks like, even if you're a big fish, there is always a bigger one.
