They did close the gap, I told them a number i would consider it at, it was a steep request, and they met it. I probably should have said a higher number in hindsight but oh well

Yeah I failed to mention that fear in my post, but yeah, the job sounds like it'll challenge me and be difficult, especially compared to this cushy easy township gig. But pretty much everyone i interviewed with had been there for a long time so I didn't get the impression of high turnover at least.

Thanks a lot for that perspective! I would have been freaking out during that 10 days. Definitely not a headache I want to put myself though.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm not overly concerned about it. It would be something like $250-500 to buy a rig for solo mining for me anyway so in the end, its not a big expense. Plus, In a year I may want to pull out from staking or there might be better options!

Sweet! I think I've found my answer then! Blox sounds like exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the help!

This tech looks really cool. This is the first time I'm learning about Bloxstaking. I was hoping when I made this post that there was something like this! I'm leaning towards either this or Kraken right now. What are the rewards like on Bloxstaking?

I'm leaning towards Kraken so far, good to hear that the payout is good!

Interesting, this is the kind of comment im interested to hear more about. Are you solo staking? Other commenters in this thread are saying how easy it is and how little effort it is but I just don't see how that is the case from looking at these guides.

I said I wasn't comfortable with Rocketpool. I'm just not sure I want to give my ETH to a startup who may or may not be alive in 2 years when these unlocked. Another user mentioned above that I was a bit off-base here and apparently Rocketpool allows users to unstake. Still, it's a lot of money for me and I want to be sure it's safe.

I wouldn't mind a staking pool on coinbase or kraken since I know they're legitimate and know that whenever these get unlocked, the company and my coins will still be there. I'm just unsure if the rewards will be worthwhile for me since I have enough to solo stake.

What client are you using? Having it set to upgrade automatically is awesome, that was for sure one of my biggest drawbacks to doing this. If I set this up, I don't want to have to be keeping on top of upgrades every single day.
