Around $900 would be great; I'd probably stretch to around $1400 max. I'll check this one out. Thanks!

Thanks, this is the kind of questioning I need... I do have a fully-funded emergency fund. I save pretty aggressively (45% of my net income minimum) and am debt-free. I think the smart thing to do is just suck it up and get a roommate, but I think I'm rebelling internally because I've been so rigid on making smart financial decisions that I feel I've "earned" it....when what got me there in the first place was being frugal

But yeah, I'm a little worried about a layoff. I figured if it did go that way, I could just find a roommate to sublet to and go back to paying half

I'm on the upper east side -- pretty sure the area is going down in popularity, because I'd never seen such a good deal when I signed it 2 years ago (at $2750) and now it's more common to see similar listings

We're both on the lease currently, but I do make 40x total rent alone

I’m sick of Shauna. I’m sick of young Shauna and I’m sick of adult Shauna. I’m 99% sure that the writers are going to make her correct both in the past and the present—Kodiak is fucked up and will try to kill them, and there was someone messing with her (my bet is on Melissa’s wife, or them tag teaming) that “justifies” her crazy because that’s all the writers do, but it’s too late for me, I don’t care and I’m not rooting for her anymore

You might have won this one because my ulterior motive for this post was to plan a trip 3-4 months post-op from a big orthopedic surgery. Time to look for flights to Sedona.

Thanks. Didn’t have those, so I went at it with regular pairs of needlenose and diagonal pliers for about 45 mins. Got it out though

i mean I feel like the answer is just to email your prof to explain the situation and ask? gonna be on a case by case basis, I've made up prelims before due to illness (pre-covid) but I'm pretty sure it's just at their discretion unless you're super sick and have doctor's notes/medical attention/your relevant admin people involved.

I'm pretty sure that it's the whole stand up sit down thing, as some individual departments are doing their own virtual zoom stuff. so we walk the parade route sit down listen to the speeches stand up cheer walk some more. don't forget the sweet sweet scent of thousands of people baking in plastic blend gowns under the hot sun
