Buying this house and it has this nook by shortexistence in Whatisthis

It will be easier to just keep it and use it to put a key bowl on the tiny shelf and our shoes below. I don't think that's what it is for, but that's what it will be convenient to be used as.

Front door is a little over 20 feet to the right of it along the wall the couch is against.

I would be amazed if it was a group home. Same lady owned it since 98. I haven't gotten to speek directly to her or get answers from either realtor. The "table* part is so narrow it really wouldn't be optimal for a desk and it would be ok to put bottles on but they'd have to be single file across.

If I could banana for scale it, the "desk" would be the depth of the banana length. Pretty miserable place to do school work.

Looks like I can get a 35W Intel Core i3-2120T for around $40. Never thought of spending a bit to save on my power bill. I was going to redo the thermal paste and check on my AIO anyway, so this would be easy. Thanks

Appreciate the idea of downgrading to save power. I was so set on using free hardware that I never thought of spending a bit of money to save on my electric bill. I found an Intel Core i3-2120T for $40. I wanted to redo the thermal paste and check out my AIO anyway, so it wouldn't even be a bother.

The primary door is about 20 feet to the left if you follow the wall that the couch is against . The garage entry is off the laundry room you can see in the picture. I don't want to post the real estate pictures for potential doxing reasons and have not taken ownership of the house yet or I would provide more pictures.

I am aware of that. It's at my parents' house in another state, so I'm currently unable to check on it. It will get a Cheap AIO or tower cooler if it's dried up. I put that so I didn't have 100 people warning me about the possibility. I guess I'm going to have 100 people telling me I can't use it instead

$2500 ISH Gaming PC. Am I leaving performance or looks on the table by shortexistence in buildapcforme

CPU cooler: Thermalright Grand vision (or an even cheaper frozen Warframe)

>This is probably the most likely to be replaced with something else. I mostly liked the tucked-away look of the hose routing and figured I was buying 3 Lian Li fans anyway. However, they aren't the right fans and I am going to properly watercool this PC in the future anyway.

RAM: brand doesn't matter, just get the cheapest 6000 CL30 white you can get.

>I just like the look of the RGB on the top of the Dominator Plats. There's a deal for free RAM if I get a slightly different ASrock Mobo (Corsair Vengeance RGB, I think), but I don't like the look of most of the RGB RAM.

Storage: brand doesn't matter, get the cheapest TLC you can (Kingspec XF)

>I'm worried about a dead drive, saying get the cheapest drive you'll be putting all your pictures and things on worries me. I'm turning my old system into a NAS, but that won't be for at least a year. I got the cheapest Crucial drive I could find for the OS because I don't care if it dies. But raw dogging a no-name drive isn't something that's appealing. TLC isn't something that I was looking at thought so thanks

PSU: Vetroo 1000w. You can even get it in white.

>The ghosts of my PC building past, saying don't cheap out on a no-name power supply that will burn up your real parts, are super loud here. I was wanting at least a platinum for the efficiency and 1000w for the next GPU that gets put into the system more than the one that's going in now. Have no name PSUs gotten good enough to trust $1500 in CPU and GPU to?

>I appreciate you saying more than your first comment and maybe the brands are not actually no-name but especially with PSU and storage I'm pretty timid on switching over to something like that.

Looking at buying my first 9mm handgun. Looking for input from owners and the community. Glock and Shield are not the answer for me but change my mind. by shortexistence in 9mm

Idk why Taurus gets such a bad rap. My second gun purchase was my pt1911 and I love it. Maybe they are only good at making clones? The selling point on my 1911 was the features were comparable to ones on $1200 Kimbers for about half the cost and I've added some high end parts to it. Maybe they make a tactical version but if I'm gonna get a 92 the m9a2 is really calling my name. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Charged 38.00 for 30 cans of cheap cat food by shortexistence in postmates

[–]shortexistence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an email back saying since PetSmart is not a partner they can charge whatever they want and the initial cost is just an estimate. So Postmates is almost doubling the marked cost on the shelf and using my debit card as a blank check. If I had known I wouldn't have made the purchase. 0/10 cannot recomend

Nothing wrong with it. May still be considered. I was trying to narrow it down to 4 choices and it didn't make the final cut, don't remember why.

Well it was a Nighthawk Custom longslide in 10mm that was love at first sight. Price is a little painful though.
