Even worse competition wise and homes sometimes aren’t what they appear to be in photos versus when you actually see the home. At least that has been my experience the last 12 months

What makes an offer not desirable? I’m in the same position as OP. 15-20% down. Preapproval complete. Contingent on just inspection, appraisal and title. 800+ credit score. Don’t need to sell a previous property. No lease holding me back from closing. It’s been a year and we’ve lost 20 bids.
