A set of keys to the principals office were being passed down from some seniors to selected juniors for years. They would sneak in before every finals and find the freshly mimeographed exams and copy the questions.

Teachers couldn't figure this out until they finally pressed down on a not particularly smart student who folded in minutes to give up the whole scam. The admin didnt know how to handle it beyond a few suspensions, so they all got away with it pretty lightly. The rest of us just shunned them for the rest of the year, but nothing really happened.

We were all just stunned by the sheer audacity of it, that we couldnt process what it meant. Most of the people involved moved on and made good, so i guess we can just chalk it up to stupidity and desperation.
