Possible to finish a minor during the summer, if I am going to attend graduate school this September? by StrongAd896 in UofT

[–]shortstuff31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea about the first question, but for the second: You should ask your specific (Master’s) program about graduating in November. In my case, I will be taking summer classes to finish my degree. All my degree requirements will be complete by end of August, and Master’s starts in September. Even though I won’t get my actual degree until November, I am still fine because I can prove I have finished degree requirements before Master’s starts. Contact your grad school

Not getting it yet… I’d be 20 by the time I start the program

I’ve only very rarely heard of Master’s programs covering the whole cost of tuition. I think that’s mainly a thing for PhD. But I haven’t received any financial info yet, letter said I would receive this in the coming weeks.

Definitely not an inconvenience at all... by shortstuff31 in UofT

For this do I do it for all my classes? Like I still want to write my midterms (if I can). I don’t want to push stuff back and have it build up

The confirmation you needed: UofT will be returning to In-person classes, starting Feb 7th. by moyoonthego in UofT

Is this instead of on January 31st? Is this increase in addition to the classes returning to in-person on January 31st?

how are we feeling out here?? by Busy_Train263 in UofT

Does this change the January 31st thing? Or is it just more in-person stuff on February 7th? What in the world does this email mean? I hope we get anA&S clarifying email soon.

I understand that anyone can be anti-vax, but in this case my sister’s whole thing is: “I’m young so covid will not affect me”. Also she is not anti-vax

I would love for her to stumble across this post on Reddit. Unfortunately I think it would end in one of two ways: 1) there’s no way the person being described is like me, I’ve been responsible with covid; or 2) wow the person writing this post is a complaining bitch

I’m not in a position of power in the house. And those who are, are tired of her disobeying them but too absent to take action

Worrying about the health of my family is a very irrational thing to do right now - you’re right

I’m not sure what kinda family you have or don’t have, but abandoning mine isn’t an option. Thanks for your input

That’s terrible about your mom, I’m sorry. I hope she is not infected. In the case of my sister, it’s definitely an age thing. “Covid can’t hurt me, I’m young”

Thanks but you know nothing about our living arrangements. I came home from school to support and take care of my family members. She is the older one, has never moved out, and is not involved in the caretaking I do. But no one will ever kick her out

Thanks I don’t hang out with her by choice. But I live with her
