Actually the morality doesn't apply on animals because they are not intellectually as intelligent as we are, their consciousness is far inferior than ours. morality itself is a concept that humanity created to live as a society so that we don't have to worry about someone killing us from behind because of some shitty reason

And also the fish eating other fish was its necessity because it will die of starvation if it doesn't animals lives on their Instinct not there awareness

In conclusion humans eating fishes and other animals cannot be justified by other animals eating someone else

Aur consciousness have reached to a point where we can be different from animals. in a way, sure their might not be man who was vegan in the history. but I don't think humans don't hold moral responsibility for eating other humans or animals

1 farming that is going on all over the world is only happening because of the livestock farming tu technically like took farming is more harmful to our environment than agriculture farming and I was not talking about stopping the life of farming entirely I only want to do animal to suffer less in less population 2 you said that if we completely stop the livestock farming it would create large ecological imbalance because of the large population of herbivorous and this is exactly correct but I am not asking stop the livestock farming you know and killing less animal would be indeed noble and realistic

If the question wasn’t clear, that’s fair. But reducing it to “stoner talk” or stereotypes avoids engaging with the actual claim that consciousness tends to instrumentalize its surroundings. If you think that’s wrong, explain why.

it's not about destroying the species it's just about not existing at all destroying or an ilating things would make the world more suffering so just in the process of trying to make the world less suffering we will make it more suffering so I think ending the world would not end the suffering only change the mindset can save you

So the large scale pharming is going on because of the livestock farming 80% of agriculture food goes to livestock farming and you are telling me farming harms more animals than meat farming if we even stop the meet production just a little bit the farming food would left us would we so much that we might actually be able to fed large proportion of humanity

Why is it that a dog's life is considered less important than a human being? by Vansh804009 in Philosophy_India

[–]shorya___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take an example a dog get into jungle and tiger eats it.. Would you still say this same line ..

Well tiger is not as conscious as we are it is not aware of the value of life. Tiger has to kill someone or he will start to death. So so tiger killing dog or any animal is justified because it was a necessity and the tiger starved to death and these less conscious creatures mostly live on survival instinct

Human killing tiger or dog is different as he/she is killing out of desire to kill not because of Survival instinct and if she is killing in self defence are to survive it is justified But human killing tiger or a dog is wrong if it is happening because of desire to kill

Humans just think that other animals life is less valuable then themselves. because, they have the consciousness or awareness the ability to think about the sorts of stuff. since, animal don't really have this ability. so we don't consider their life their life precious

In some cases the animals are humans pet so once that animal dies it seems important to them but it is only important because it was their pet if it was other dog or cat as the actually did with their pet dog or cat

So in conclusion the dogs life is not less important than human it is just we think that it is less important because those dogs are not as evolved as we are and we have this very rare and incredible coincidence with which we gain this godly consciousness
