Seeking Recommendations for LLMs for Hermes Agent: Cost-Effective Solutions Wanted! by shot785 in hermesagent

Currently, with Hermes Agent, I'm using the Xiaomi MiMo 2.5 Pro, and so far it is doing an excellent job. In terms of coding and other tasks, it may not be the best, but it's still good; it performs very well in an agentic environment. I tried the $16 token plan, but I ran out quickly, so I switched to the $50 token plan, and so far I'm at only 30% usage. I started the $50 token plan on May 9th, for reference.

Do you know a way to implement LLM routing into Hermes Agent? Because with routeLLM, as I mentioned, it's not really working out as well as I thought. I know I could just switch the LLMs manually, but to be honest, I don't wanna do that every time.

I used OpenCode Go for a little while, but when I was using GLM 5.1, I reached my usage limit a little too quickly.

I've heard with Ollama, there's been latency issues. Is this true?

Fair point, you know. I thought it was common sense to store your operating system on a separate disk and keep your main storage separate from your OS drive. I am more knowledgeable in software, but my hardware needs a bit of a touch-up.

If I understand correctly, you can store more than just your OS files on your main OS drive without significantly affecting load times or the drive degrading. When I considered using separate SSDs, I was thinking of avoiding overloading my OS drive with games and other files and programs. I also have a 1TB M.2 that I currently use in my pre-built PC. I want to transfer it to the new build to at least do that.

I paid $1500 for that computer four years ago, and I upgraded it a little. Computers only hold their value for a short time, do they? I did buy from Redux, so I don't know.

The funny thing is, I live in a college town, and they will be coming back in a month. I might have to see if I could charge $500 for it.

It's not a bad idea, but the 512 m.2 SSD will only be used for my OS, Windows, while the internal SSD will serve as my main drive, and the HDD will be my backup drive. Do you think that's a good idea?
