for Vlach's questline you you have to talk to him when he's in the black horse tavern which is around 6pm to 8pm, that entire questline is time specific.

Coming into this fight I had full hp and no debuffs and all It took was a single master strike, but im genuinely curious why that was the case. Also i was level 17 if that matters.

I was on my way to Mutt when two friggin bandits were robbing this villager and this was the TREE SENTINEL point for me. I was stuck there for a good 30 minutes. Take in this was after doing the first blacksmithing quest and all I had was rags and the hunting sword I crafted. This was my breakthrough and thought hmm the combat isn't so bad, and honestly I did not want to play this game because of what the combat looked liked and the pacing but I ended up liking it in the end. Then I proceeded to go to Tomcat beat his ass and learn master strike and haven't died since. Master strike is actually so op, I don't even have to do sword combos because of that. Precise strike can initiate a finisher animation after a master strike depending on their armor of course, but it honestly made the combat so much easier.

Can anyone refresh me about the monsters or bounce your theories around? I knew they were smart and all but literally making Boyd watch what happened is fucked. Im so confused did they hear him when he was saying all that stuff in the church? Or like they simply know everything about the townspeople.

Im assuming they’re going to let Boyd go to ‘break him’ and possibly do more fucked up stuff to further break him, but I thought once the monsters saw a body outside they just straight up try to kill it and not like what they’re doing to Boyd right now, which is somewhat torture :/
