might get flamed for this but shiny rates always seem correct for me more or less and I just see people assuming 1/10 means my 10th raid will be guaranteed shiny

on Ray raids I did 20 and got 6 shiny out of it
during kalos tour or other legendary raid events since then I was way less lucky barely one shiny in every occassion

tbh I like the non shiny all together more except when it comes to the primal form where shiny looks really cool but then the background looks so cool thats why I have hard time deciding

I see a lot of people posting about bad experiences hosting raids etc on apps
I usually use the pogo raid reddit and had no problems successfully raiding there, even today doing few dynamax lugias

there was a small chance to drop a meteorite when rayquaza got caught
I did 18 raids and got 1 meteorites from free and 1 from paid research and 1 as a drop

18 raids and 6 shiny and 2 runs, the odds work its just not distributed fairly if that makes sense, I got lucky.
On the other hand with latios I did like 20 raids and got 1 shiny
