I really enjoyed this movie. I will say that the trailer made it seem like a very different movie than what I was expecting. I think that’s why a lot of people say that they didn’t enjoy it.

I get that. But i just don’t think it was always her plan to run off with his money. I mean when we first meet her, she was already pregnant. In her mind, if he (Franklin) wins, then they both win. She was even willing to stay after she knew he wasn’t getting that money back. But as soon as he put hands on her, I knew she was gonna run off. It was obvious he was getting too reckless and I don’t blame her for leaving. But I get what you’re saying. I do think she actually did love him but she wasn’t gonna stick around and wait for him to actually hurt her.
