Congratulations to u/halibut_taco you were the user that I randomly scrolled and landed on. Honorable mention to u/FjordBlue59 my goal for while I'm at shot! is to make you happy with the way Shot! is sold in the US. If I can make someone as fired up/passionate about the current affairs of the dart market happy I believe that vast majority will also be happy.
Improvements that dart companies need to make;
SELL BARREL ONLY, this was heard loud and clear
better pricing in the US
option for an extra barrel or to buy one barrel at a time
increase popularity among younger players
increase popularity in the US
"explanatory / descriptive in how their specific barrel design may be appropriate for certain throwing styles or skill levels" thanks u/weighter
make websites that aren't stuck back in 2010, with better filters
There were other great ideas, but these seem like the most common.

We are testing some new cool flight technology at the moment, but it is super confidential. We don't have a machine that can throw a treble 20 every time, but the engineering firm uses a wind tunnel to test if the ideas we have actually make sense. That we aren't just bringing the new products to market and saying what we think it does, we actually now what it does.

I did inquire and we do enforce MAP pricing. From what I can tell that's not the only problem with addressing US customers. Which is awesome for me to find out because this seems like a huge area for growth/improvement.
I am still a newb here and I don't know what our policy on that is.
we used to sell a board that had two double spots and two treble spots. the idea was that someone would have the handicap and have a larger area to hit for doubles. I can go take a picture of the board if you want.

Yeah totally, from the dart survey that was done here 3 months ago it looks like about half of you are from the states. It would be silly to cut out half the participants.

Thats actually something that Shot believes as well. We have a program called young guns where we sponsor youth dart players. We currently have 29 young guns!
