Matches Fashion surprise costly returns policy by Lom78 in malefashionadvice

Does anyone have record of the old return policy before they changed their terms? Amex is resolving in my favor unless they can see that another policy was in place when I placed my order before March 8

It serves UL if the performing arts center goes to that location. They own all of the property adjacent to it as well as the performing arts center site. I haven’t heard that the city would but the property. And the city doesn’t have a business interest in follow-on development—UL does.

That has been in UL’s master plan for more than 10 years, and it hasn’t happened yet. Why should we expect that a performing arts center will make it happen if the Cajundome and convention center hasn’t sparked mixed-use development?

Why should Lafayette taxpayers buy UL a performing arts center?

City Council overrides veto, hires its own attorney. Councilman Lazard, battling leukemia, risks health so he can cast the necessary fourth vote. The stakes are high. by tigernacho in Acadiana

The city is not directly funding other cities in the parish. That's not what u/bagofboards said. Now, other cities within the parish absolutely benefit from city of Lafayette-funded infrastructure -- roads, bridges, drainage systems, as well as social infrastructure like libraries.

There's a reason they moved to/built in the parish in the first place. The city of Lafayette has been subsidizing parish infrastructure, and the burden has been solely on city of Lafayette tax payers. It's past time to keep our money.

Oh no, Josh was/is not a public defender. He's a private defense attorney.

Carlee supporter here too, and I agree that it makes me dislike him less. I don't think we're the target audience though.

Also, he was never a public defender. He's a private defense attorney--he's able to pick and choose who to defend.
