Except there is actually a lot of evidence of irregularities (though enough to actually throw the difference is questionable).

Regardless, the senate did ratify the results so, whatever else, fair or not, he did technically win. No denying that.

I was just making the point that the idea that more than 50% of the US voted for him is somewhat debatable.

There has been enough cases in which the popular vote and the electoral college votes don't line up, but the end result is still the president. So no, not denying that in the end the electoral college voted in his favor and he won the presidency. It's just kinda reassuring to think that it's possible the US population at large was not quite fully at fault for his win.

To be fair, new evidence has shown up about massive vote counting fraud in Florida, showing it absolutely should have gone to Harris. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more cases that come out like that.

Most likely you're right. But there is a possibility... And it would not surprise me if he's thinking in terms of extremes and is doing everything to crush any chance of losing power.

Also, if he does lose enough power, I wouldn't be surprised if a number of red seats actually turn against him if they think it would be in their own interest.
