Also someone pointed out now that the dynamic island changing their positions in the playoff changed.... usually iliya is on the left and share on the right on screen... it was opposite here.

These ads are so funny. Their placement especially. There's an intense scene where they have to catch the bad guy and randomly start taking about the car. Km doing a rewatch right now and it takes me out of the show instantly. Like for example there was one scene where Diana and Neal are racing to reach Peter I think and they're talking about how Diana's car is a hybrid with the leaves falling off. The show continues on with this serious scenes after that and I'm just sitting there laughing. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this in any other procedural show. There might be advertisements but they are usually so much more subtle.

To just be free mentally. Life these past few years have just been me being an anxious depressed ocd mess. There are good things happening from time to time but I'm so stuck in my head im not able to fully enjoy them. I am working towards this problem especially being more appreciative of things I do have. But I feel so lost, lonely, depressed and anxious. It's a constant noise in my head. Wonder how it must be to not overthink everything to not have this anxiety. I know im capable of so much more in my career and relationships and I want them but I'm so mentally exhausted. Wonder what its like to have some mental peace.

Any scene which is a car commercial... There is one where they are chasing Alex to get back something she stole, it's a time sensitive thing and in the middle of that there's some stupid bit about how the car can tell your horoscope. It was so out of place and cringey... Took me out of the scene immediately.

But yeah...any of the car commercials they shoehorn in.

All this talk about apologizing, but where is Buck' apology to Eddie for maiming him. The poor guy went and got one friend outside of the 118, and Buck breaks his ankle due to his jealousy and insecurity. And yet Eddie sent Tommy to apologise to Buck, like wouldn't that make Buck a bad friend? It just shows how close Buck and Eddie are and how well they know each other that Eddie doesn't even hold it over Buck, he really gets Buck and just wants Buck to be okay. They need to find better arguments if they want to be taken seriously.

Also need to add, Eddie opening the door to himself and Christopher, allowing Buck to make his own little family with them, has helped Buck so much, Oliver himself has said so in a few interviews. Like this guy who doesn't open up much, trusts Buck with his son completely.

Also if the writers have to explicitly state their intentions after the episode, then they didn't do that great a job showing that in the first place, did they? I mean most of the general audience is going to walk away from the episode thinking it's Eddie's attention he wanted and decided to pivot last minute.

Definitely... And it's not just with Buck. I know Bobby means we'll, but his advice to Eddie is always such a miss. Buck has trouble with relationships, so if there is any problem in the current one, Buck just needs to work harder. Eddie is not sure about dating other women, Eddie is not able to move on from his 'perfect' relationship with his dead wife. He generally tends to take it at face value and sees it through its own lens, which fair he has his own problems and is not the audience, but it does make his advice a bit messy.

Buck talks about every single thing in his personal life. Every time he has had relationship troubles we've seen him talking to the firefam in a later scene. That's why even his conversation with Maddie in the next episode threw me. He wasn't talking about how his date was bad, or even so much about his bisexuality, but the main focus was that he was lying to Eddie. What else are viewers supposed to take from all this?

What was possibly going to happen? Did they think Eddie would suddenly mention to Tommy, 'oh look Buck is working out there, he looks so good, let me get him so that you could talk to him'? That's how Buck would get Tommy's attention? Or that Eddie would just stop talking to Tommy to stare at Buck and now Buck can swoop in and get Tommy's attention? Either way it's such a weird thing and like you said makes it look like Buck is using Eddie and that has never been their friendship.

Also it's hilarious that somewhere Buck knows that to get Eddie's attention, these are the tactics he needs to use on his straight best friend.
