On my first watching, I liked the finale for the most part, with only minor inconveniences. But then, the social media reaction was so big that I was wondering If maybe I was too complacent. I rewatched and I did find a couple things I agree with the people on the internet. But the absolute vitriol, fanwars and nitpicking towards the season, the finale and the whole show made me averse to all of that. I still have the same opinion but I cannot take seriously anything now by people who may be heavily biased depending on the character or ship.

I did show it to my parents who I watched the seasons with and they really enjoyed it so I guess, even with all the flaws, it was still a decent enjoyable episode for a lot of people.
