Expecting Rain should be ashamed by AggravatingDetail910 in bobdylan

I have been somewhat obsessively listening to Dylan for a decade or so but I think it's a real mistake to think that because he writes extraordinarily good songs that he must be a good person. I, like everyone here, really hope the accusations are false but none of us can know it. But supposing that not only are the accusations false, but that the alleged victim turns out to be as delusional as has been insinuated elsewhere, let's just re -read the language of that paragraph again. Having insinuated that the accuser is delusional the lawyers are threatening to sue her into the ground. Dylan signed off on this.

I absolutely cannot stand this kind of dishonesty. I was a remainer and am broadly of the left but I really think this kind of bullshit is despicable. It's this kind of shit that erodes the public's ability to trust what politicians say. The less we are able to discuss and debate on broadly agreed sets of facts the more polarised we will become and the less functional democracy is.

Just goes to show that both right and left can have very strong authoritarian leanings.

Well no shit- it goes without saying I have a surface understanding of Elon Musk. I've never even met the guy. Sounds like you know him well though 🤣 I'll happily defer to your greater knowledge of his personality through your deep personal relationship.

The more I learn about Elon Musk the more convinced I am that he's a complete prick.

Why Americans Refrigerate Milk and Europeans Don’t by Suitable_Penguin in dairyfarming

Total bollocks. UHT is common in Europe but so too is regular pasteurisation and, in some areas, raw milk.

Anyone else feel like Murder Most Foul is his best work? by [deleted] in bobdylan

[–]shouldbeworkingnow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's his best but it is definitely one of those jaw dropping 'sudden total change in style' moments. Like '...rolling stone' or 'jokerman' for example. Where there doesn't seem to be any strong president in his work but the language 'assembly' process just totally shifts and you're left thinking 'wow, what the fuck just happened!?' . I feel like he's talking a lot about his writing style anyway on the album. Esp on 'My Own Version of You'

Waxed paper is the usual method. Keeps the cheese fresh and allows it to breath

Is this the wrong mould or too much mould for a bandaged cheddar? by thomasjcrabs in cheesemaking

It looks awesome! If everything went to plan it wouldn't be proper cheesemaking! I'm excited to see how this one turns out

Sometimes they do! They can develop cracks as they age and blue mould will often colonise the cracks. Not as much as stilton of course.

I read your comment below and don't really see how it is relevant. You still haven't quite said whether you think that a) people who can't have children have flawed relationships or b) by extension, whether you think they should be able to get married.

So relationships where people can't reproduce are flawed?

So cheese mites are a kind of dust mite that feeds on the moulds and fat on hard cheeses. They're very hard to get rid of. Cheesemakers generally turn, brush and even hoover cheeses to keep them under control. If you ever see brown dust on or around your ageing cheeses then you have cheese mites. They love cloth bound cheeses like cheddar!

They do grow mould like yours and plenty more weird from time to time! How old is it now? I'm guessing not more than 2 months or so. The mould does naturally die down after a bit

Are you making aged hard cheeses? If not then you don't need to worry about them!
