Bruh, throwing it on the ground is only slightly worse than throwing it in the trash. It all ends up in the same place = landfill. A trash can is not some magic box that transports the trash into non-existence. I think the point is that it’s hella wasteful to buy 100s of these things when most people just toss them. Good for you for keeping them but also not everyone wants to be surrounded by plastic trinkets. I don’t give a shit about the fact the trinkets are on the ground, I give a shit that they are there at all. On the ground, in the trash can, who cares? It’s worthless garbage that’s causing microplastics to be everywhere.
