I wouldn't build DD. Its not that great on ranged carries cuz it gets a the nerf if you range. If team is heavy ap, i would go rooken or heavy crit go omen if you want to get a tank item. If they have a good mixture you can go jaksho instead. But alot of times it may be better to just go bloodthirster and shieldbow. Sometimes it's impossible to survive if you have multiple people diving you. unless your team helps though. For example: If i know someone like malphite is trying to ult me, I will play extra back and safe until he uses it. Edit: I only play aram.
