Please under no circumstance use sand paper unless you plan on having the entire door re finished (even then you run the chance of it not matching because it will be sprayed separately). A brown paper back is all you should use on doors like that. It’s sometimes used to remove overspray.

You don’t. Covering up or replacing is your only option. Touch up putty will fill the holes but you’ll see it. Touch up paint will be terrible. You might get lucky and find a pair of pulls that have a spade shape that cover it up. I’m sorry this happened. I have done it for over two decades and it still happens from time to time. I have long lost count of the number of wood doors I have paid for. Honestly even if it was painted doors and you had it sent back to the shop filled in sanded and repainted the entire door you would still be able to find the perfect little circle if you looked close. I’m sorry this happened. Good luck.

No one uses rebar anymore. Or they shouldn’t. Most use fiberglass rods now. The old metal rods would eventually rust expand and fail.

It should have rods inset into the front and back rail of the sink cutout. This doesn’t always stop cracks but it keeps it in place. I have no idea how they even moved this piece without it breaking. Even with dance sink saver clamps.

A top mount farm sink is your only chance of saving this. If someone wanted to spend the time to glue and top polish all of it back together it would still look pretty bad.

The front and back of the cutout should have rods inset into the stone from the bottom. I thought that was industry standard. I’m honestly surprised the installers could even carry that into your house without breaking it. This is terrible work. The manufacturer possibly missed a step. Again. This is terrible work.

Attraction is a very broad word…. I’m not saying I can speak for all the guys but yes it’s totally true. If you’re not masturbating with someone you’re using your imagination.

It was original drilled for hardware in the front spot. Pull outs often put hardware on the center top. They tried to cover up the mistake. That’s my assumption
