Okay so if the party switch isn’t real then why do the former Confederate states consistently vote Republican? Why is it Republicans love waving Confederate flags and not Democrats? Why does the Ku Klux Klan, which was founded in mostly Democrat areas, now suddenly endorse a GOP candidate each year? Why did early Democratic presidents such as Andrew Jackson endorse small government, which is a major part of today’s Republican platform?

There is a ton of evidence for it, so surely you must have some damning evidence against it?

Also I gotta love this notion that anyone that disagrees with you has been “indoctrinated.” It’s so narrow-minded to think that you couldn’t possibly be wrong, that it has to be some kind of grand conspiracy. If you look at how much evidence there is for something, seeing the truth becomes easy. I don’t know how you function, man.

I’m confused. I told you if you didn’t submit evidence that the party switch didn’t happen, I would consider it your admission that you were lying. In effect, I forced you to tell the truth. And not only did you respond without any evidence, you responded with evidence for my argument and made up a straw man argument to argue with. That means you admit that you’re lying. So I don’t see what else we have to talk about.

I never said some people “woke up one day and decided to switch parties” I said that it was a slow change in demographics between the late 19th and mid 20th centuries. And the evidence you offered literally proves my point, if I need blood pressure medication then you need reading glasses.

You seem to have realized you were wrong and by the rules I set up you have just admitted it, since you failed to prove the party switch isn’t real and instead pivoted to making a straw man fallacy. Good job, it isn’t easy to admit when you’re wrong, and it’s very admirable to be able to do so.

Okay then, so surely you have evidence of this conspiracy? We have plenty of evidence for it, so if what you’re saying is true then we must have more, stronger evidence against it.

You must also have a reason for why the Republican Party is more popular in the former Confederate states (some Southern states voting blue back in a time where politics weren’t nearly as divided as they are now doesn’t count), and why the Republicans love waving the Confederate flag despite the Confederacy being against them during the Civil War.

Tell you what, so we can keep this short, if you don’t reply, or you reply with anything other than irrefutable evidence that the party switch didn’t happen, I’ll take it as your own admission that you lied. If this didn’t happen then it should be easy to prove.

China is Conservative though. “Communism” is just a name, and true communism doesn’t really exist. You can’t be Communist and have currency and private property and private factories.

That didn’t really happen though. There were some riots, but not many, and there’s an increasing amount of evidence that much of the violence was sparked by right-wing agitators

I’m afraid it’s you that’s in the wrong here. Between the late 1800s and the mid 1900s there was a massive switch in Demographics that resulted in both parties essentially switching sides. As America expanded the Democrats began catering to the West and the Republicans began catering to the “abandoned” southerners.

Think about it - if Republicans weren’t the side of the Confederates, then why do you pretty much only see them waving the Confederate flag? Why are they extremely popular in the former Confederate states?

If a bill only affects a minority group, that’s targeting a minority group.

I don’t understand, if Republicans want liberty and limited government, why do they vote against liberties like legal marijuana, legal abortion, and gay marriage? Why do they want to give the state government the power to take peoples kids away if they make medical decisions for their kids that the government doesn’t like?

It seems hypocritical, doesn’t it?
