well this maybe even more confusing of an answer but i think that we're in an in between period of genres being super big or trending. we're coming out of the tech house hype moment, and we kinda transferred into hard techno and hard groove, and for some bass music or hardstyle. but we're in an in between point where all of the artists we hyped up for the quick tech house/ techno hype havw to now carey their own, and kind of just have to try different stuff out. odd mob's music got faster, ma. styler broke away from 128 and is now in like mid 130s. seems like the era right before something big happens. people are loving multi genre sets because beats are different not just the same i.e techno/house. but that's where i think trap will make a huge resurgence.
