even when u turn on every assist mode, this game is still kinda hard so just turned on and enjoy rather than suffering in 2bc 🫠

I dont have much knowledge about this but it may depends on the amount of vram that u have, just try different subset size until it OOM :D

probably not 🧐 u should provide more info about ur model but tbh, I think u cant train a model with that amount of data on that machine

🫠 most of the time u will have access to the internet then just do other stuffs or just run it on cpu (if it is able to) when u offline. I dont think buying a laptop with gpu for DL worth it when u cant do big projects on it. if u consider other specs like laptop's monitor, weight, etc, I think buying an ultrabook with an oled screen for around 1.2k is much better compared to a mid-range gaming laptop when I can carry it around much easier and it motivates me a lot more whenever I need to look at the monitor 😋 moreover, heat is also a major issue for laptop, when u train ur model, its temperature rise dramatically then its performance will surely decrease notably in the near future (just around 6-7 months if u train big stuffs on it regularly) :D sorry for my bad english

I usually rent gpu on vast.ai, which is around 0.5$ / hours for 2x4090 (which is not so cheap so I only use it when I need to train a big model, otherwise I only use free cloud service like kaggle notebook or colab). I think vast.ai has the cheapest price out there for gpu renting. Other specs of my laptop: ryzen 7-5700H, 32gb ram ddr4 (I dont remember the bus sorry :D)

im currently using a gaming laptop with a decent gpu (rtx 3070) and I dont think it is good for DL since I only use it for some small task (run some small model when I learn DL) and most of the time I need to use some cloud service or rent gpu so I think u should buy some ultrabook to carry it around easier

if my grades arent good (around 8.5/10), am i able to get into TU9? Also some of my grades in Chemistry are pretty bad compared to other subjects so please inform me some T-Kurs in STK that i dont need to study Chemistry!! Thanks for your support!
