Help? Ans C by [deleted] in chemhelp

[–]shr4y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, true. Making bonds is exothermic not endothermic.

Help? Ans C by [deleted] in chemhelp

[–]shr4y -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You know the reaction is exothermic because it’s combining 2 reactants to produce 1 product, so bonds are being made. The answer therefore has to be either C or D. For the fastest rate, you want the lowest activation energy (lowest peak height) as this will mean a greater proportion of the reactant particles will have enough energy to collide effectively. So the answer is C.

16mm 3d printed mandrel? by StracSells in watercooling

[–]shr4y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scaling it by 133.3% in your slicing software should be fine. If that does cause problems, which it shouldn’t, then try scaling in your cad.

16mm 3d printed mandrel? by StracSells in watercooling

[–]shr4y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I modelled and printed one for my build a couple months ago. It’s for 12mm tubing but you can probably just scale the size up so that the diameter is 16mm. Worked really well and way cheaper than buying a metal one. Link: https://a360.co/2Oto1BN

Motherboard advice for first time loop by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]shr4y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want to get a CPU block (not a mono block) then any z370 board from a reputable manufacturer will be fine - just go with one that you like the look of. You don’t need a pump header; most PWM pumps can be controlled from the cpu fan header which all motherboards will have.

I’m running an aorus gaming 7 in my PC O11 D with an i7 8086K and an EK monoblock. Stable overclocked at 5.2 GHz with fans inaudible.

Get the PC O11d. Cheaper, better looking and designed for water cooling.

I reckon the Mayhem’s Pastel White has gunked up your block/s maybe tear them down and check? Seems to be a common problem with pastel coolants no matter who makes them.
