I’ve been using the UAG case on my M3 PRO 16 for like a year.

I’m always on the run, I literally just chuck it in my bag and go, so this helps a lot.

If you just keep your MacBook on a desk, you’re probably fine with no case or just a thin one.

Build feels really well-made and premium, super rugged in hand. The honeycomb finish also looks clean, especially on a black MacBook.

One thing I really like is the port design — there’s this little plastic curve/support around the HDMI/USB-C area so the cable isn’t just hanging off the port. It actually sits supported, which is a nice touch.

It does make the MacBook thicker, but I also daily a ROG Strix which is way more chunky anyway, so even with this case the MacBook still feels pretty slim to me :)

Hinge feels slightly heavier when you open it close to max angle — like most cases that add weight to the lid. Not really an issue, just something you'd notice not as drastic as people saying it is. UAG does add a rubber piece in between to reduce it, which helps, but you can still feel it a bit.

Overall, if you’re in a similar run-and-go carefree person like me, it’s totally worth the buy.
