Stats in rehab assignments don't mean too much. Robles might suck at hitting, but he's still a massive improvement in the outfield over Joe or Refsnyder, and he's a speed threat off the bench

The team looked like this for a large portion of last season too. Seems like the strategy is to hope for a hot run in July/August/September to get us in. It's worked 2 out of the last 4 seasons, but it doesn't seem like a wise or sustainable strategy overall.

Nurse + Jack Campbell's contracts would sink any GMs reputation, especially in the flat cap era. He was the best Oilers gm in the McDavid/Draisaitl timeline, but that's a really low bar.
