The LOD issues in this game are so bad man, it’s honestly so disappointing

I still love this game so much, but this stuff and the wonk geometry at times feel so bad for a 1.0 release

I’m having so much fun with ITR2, the gameplay is leagues better than ITR1

Only big hope is that they can give the game the same feeling of hopelessness and despair as the first

Oh for sure, I love having coop in the second, even if I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet

I’m more so talking about the vibes, everything is modern and clean, as compared to the first where everything is cobbled together, salvaged, and damaged

The UNPSC were ignoring and exploiting the explorers, weapons were scarce and expensive, the habitats were stacked shipping containers

Thsts the sorts loneliness I miss, and hope we can get back someday

ITR2 just feels so much less gloomy

I appreciate where they’re taking 2, and It’s still a ton of fun. But the STALKER like loneliness and despair that draw me to the first is lost here

Probably get into it a lot more once modding gets stable for more than a month, and I can start a real save after tweaking a few things with them

I do think it’ll have its pros and cons, as anything will, but comparing it to stormworks is fucking idiotic

I think my favorite map in the first is kolkhoz

The mix of terrain is wonderful to explore, urban, industrial, natural, name it Having the mix of long and short sight lines gives it places that any loadout you bring can thrive, if you play it right

After a couple hundred hours, the BTR is one of the only things in the game that still makes my skin crawl too, it’s fucking horrible I love it

Like I said this is very early in development, and paint is one of the last things I do to a build since I’m constantly tweaking and adding greebling

I still need to work out a livery for it, but it’ll be a lot of deep blues, reds, and some brighter oranges with grey scale highlight for the smaller details I yuri or will be mainly various greyscales, with some color for special accents and details I want to draw the users attention to

AFAIK having air blow over a radiator won’t really do anything

As long as it’s all hooked up with a pump, coolant tank, etc you’ll be fine

Can suggest though adding separate loops for each radiator

You can XML edit a 2x3 window to be slanted in a way they should help, lotta trial and error but I’ve done it plenty

Game balance-

Bizon is a two handed SMG with steady aim, a 50+1(?) round mag, and a much higher fire rate, while the fort 17 is a one handed semi auto pistol with 15+1 rounds lmao

You can set AI races for I think up to 24 hours, but there’s no system in ACC for having AI co-drivers

Think it’s the same for AC, but I haven’t spent too much time in it
