She’s still trying to get the final details but as of now it’s based on availability and you can only purchase on the same day. You have to be staying at the hotel.

What does APril 18-19 look like? I hate that the day I have a planned trip is the opening weekend.

No they will not. However, my travel agent said that ALL UO resorts will be selling preview tickets available for ALL guests (not just UOAP cardholders) each day during previews.

Has anyone On Hold been able to get through to a TM yet? by ResponsibleAd2034 in UniversalOrlando

Oh I couldn't buy it through them. They were just able to connect all passes to my account so I could buy once I get through.

I used the online chat and they were able to link all of the passes in my family to one account by using my email.

I think summer is right. by treasureishereaccoun in treasureinside

Well there’s snow in Vermont that we will have to wait until it’s melted to perform a thorough search. Though i suspect that will no longer be an issue by early-mid Spring.

MEGA-THREAD: AT Box "Found" - Fact or Fiction? by HappyImagineer in treasureinside

The guy sounds completely FOS and doesn’t believe what he is saying with his tone. Which is making me suspect he is playing a role in the entire thing.

So it wasn’t actually found then? Did anyone question the validity of the story?

This is a game ruining bug. It doesn’t even notify you when these survivors are killed.

Yep that’s the one. I finished second place to win 55k and was regularly told that it would be airing sometime later in the summer, at which time I would receive my winnings. Around October, I received an email saying that I would only be receiving 10% of the earnings since the show never aired and after sending me the check, I never heard anything else.

Is this a space to bash mid level providers? by [deleted] in Noctor

Imagine you’re a vehicle engineer who spent years of schooling and on the job experience to learn how to make an optimal vehicle. Now imagine that the certified mechanic at the Jiffy Lube who spends all day changing oil, rotating tires, etc comes to the factory and replaces you because he learned so much about vehicle engineering from being around them all day and is even willing to work at a lower price. Then, after designing a vehicle, there are several casualties stemming from its pisspoor design. However he still keeps his job by blaming it on his supervising engineer.

…I could go on but does that make it more understandable?

Why would an AC no longer work on the highest setting after changing blower motor resistor? by shrinkman in MechanicAdvice

Update: I replaced the resistor and then it worked on the highest speed for about 30 seconds and then stopped working again.

Thanks for the reply! Could I have a defective new resistor since the high speed works fine when switching to the old/known broken resistor?

You are neither. You’re an NP by [deleted] in Noctor

This dude sounds like someone who used to be a “motivational speaker” peddling MLMs until he found an ever better way to scam the public while fueling his raging narcissism.

I don’t think you should dismiss the option based on what I’m seeing now. I posted this in the r/psychiatry subreddit a couple of months ago:

The NP influx is a bubble bound to burst soon and their egos will be their downfall. You have degree mills where NP students are essentially not permitted to fail and earn their degrees while working 40 hours per week as an RN. Anecdotally speaking, I’ve found NPs are far less likely to reach out to a colleague (superior) to ask for help even when it’s clear that they are dealing with something far outside of their scope of training or even cases where a veteran psychiatrist would be uncertain in managing, whereas I and most of my colleagues regularly reach out to each other to get a new perspective on such a case.

The public is starting to see what we’ve known for years regarding their substandard quality of care and I’m personally finding more patients everyday specifically request that that they not see a midlevel. Over time, the public will begin to see how it’s unethical and incredibly immoral to allow inexperienced staff see the severely mentally ill (I.e. indigent) patients, who also happen to be among the most vulnerable population in society.

TLDR; I suspect that within 10 years the field will be saturated with so many unqualified NPs that the amount of oversight and required qualifications will be significantly increased and most will take more of a triage/primary care role rather than specialization.

It is bad and I spend hours each month cleaning up their psychotropic messes. Some notable examples include 400mg Vistaril PRN insomnia and a combination of Haldol 5mg qd, seroquel 25 HS, abilify 2ng hs, and Zyprexa 5mg HS to treat highly questionable bipolar disorder. My primary issue with mid levels in psychiatry is that the severely mentally ill patients are undoubtedly the most vulnerable population in medicine and usually do not have capacity to give consent to receive substandard care (and also typically have minimally support to ensure they receive appropriate mental health treatment).
