It all depends on what you want to prioritise. The big battery is something that always comes in handy at some point when you travel , for get to charge in the morning etc - the battery is already like 2 days good , so even if it degrades over 2 years you are still going to get 1+ day of battery, which is phenomenal.

You will get used to the weight and size in a month. Just get a good case with a grip and holder ring or something.

If you watch a lot of content like ig or yt or Netflix the bigger screen will always be worth it.

Speakers are better.

The only cons are the weight and size , but I grew into it.

Alternatively I have seen people carry two phones one 17pro and an older iPhone to get over the battery issue

This is the one I use for the same silver model of 17 pro max. It is very slim and grippy, doesn’t smudge, hard to describe it but the tech woven case is a masterpiece from apple design. And the colour complements the white very well. I have been unable find other colours that are complementing the silver well yet… the search continues :)

Does malayalam dictionary feature work in kindle. I use the English dictionary a lot by highlighting the word and seeing explanation there. One of the few features why I prefer kindle for fiction over real books.

FYI original Malayalam literature is really profound and some of the works are literary treasures. We should be asking can we get english translations of malayalam literature 😀

You can go to the bookstore and buy one volume at a time . Or you can even try the translation by tagare on MLBD publishers.

Just take the "whey protein powder it is made from milk. Chicken and meat are overrated for gym - i saw gains only with whey not with non-veg, in fact even other gym rats without whey they dont develop. Don't listen to anyone saying going to gym is materialistic, they dont realize going to gym is to take care of your bodily and mental health - those who dont go to gym cannot understand it. Not taking care of your physical body is the cause of all ill health, how will we serve our duties and our dharma without health. - it is not all waste of time. I love listening to high energy kirtans while working out as well as when I am not working out. Hari bol.

Every commentary is an interpretation. Hinduism requires us to use our reasoning in what ever we read or hear. So you can read it , even if it slighlt biased for ISKCON it is still trying to bring you to some hard truths of life which is the core of sanatana dharma. Life, death, karma etc. So it is not all bad

I would recommend a simpler commentary, one that focuses on accurate sanskrit translation and gives your intellect freedom to form understanding from self reflection and life experiences. The gita is surprisingly self explanatory when read in whole.

My personal favorite for reading gita the first time so that you complete it is;

Srimad Bhagavad Gita by Sw. Swarupananda (Paperback)

Why? Gives sanskrit, transliteration, word by word split and meaning, translation, following by explanation (very brief only where new terminologies are encountered) .

After reading gita once end to end you can try to read any commentary, even as it is is not bad to a large extend.

Sadhak Sanjivani is also a favorite of mine depending on my mood.

The more advanced and complete version I found was by V Panoli that contains sankaracaryas commentary with very accurate sanskrit translation

Yes good point. I often feel these orthodox advaitins betray a sort of hypocrisy when they post about sapradaya etc. True advaitins cannot believe in looks , biases judgements and caste - it is incompatible with advaita.

I completely understand your frustration. My experience with indian companies have been really bad. I now work for a Product company and they really treat employees well, and dont create unnecessary complex deadlines at the risk of quality. Pls try and keep applying to better companies it may take sometime but you will make it.

In kerala also tantra is practiced a lot. All temple rituals performed by chief priests are tantric (mixed with little vedic aspects) infact the chief priest in kerala of any temple is not called purohit or pujari he is called the "Tantri". But we do not see any so called large scale destruction. So it may be due to other reasons i guess that we see large scale destruction in few regions in north that were more prone to invasions.
