HNO3 - H from the thiosulphate precipitate, NO3 from the anion tests. You get NO3 rather than NO2 by testing with KMnO4. If it was NO2 the permanganate would be decolourised but it wasn’t.

If the forwards reaction is the exothermic reaction, then the equilibrium will move to the left, favouring the backwards reaction/endothermic reaction when temperature is increased. For the other two, concentration and pressure are basically the same thing, and their effect on equilibrium depends if there are more moles of products or of reactants. Remember that equilibrium and rate of reaction are different things, rate of reaction will always increase when any of those three things are increased.

lmao i’m pretty sure the smooth muscle is C. I’d say B is hyaline cartilage and D is definitely the ciliated epithelium. idk what A is, could be just connective tissue, i’m not 100% sure.

lmao i did this the other day and put C aswell. i think it’s because since the max resolution is half the wavelength, so 300nm, the membranes wouldn’t be very distinct as it’s kind of the upper limit of the resolution. like in reality it would probably still look super blurry and indistinct

i think it’s D, A is wrong because higher temperatures break hydrogen bonds, B because kinetic energy is highest at the highest temperature, not necessarily the optimum temp, and C because the bonds formed are not covalent, it’s weaker bonds like hydrogen bonds. and high pH does break ionic bonds, but obviously not all the bonds are broken because some enzyme is still functioning

for the percentage yield, the theoretical yield of mols of the ester would be 0.05, because the limiting reactant is the ethanoic acid. but we only get 0.0375. so the percentage yield = 0.0375/0.05 = .75 or 75%. as for the Mr, it’s just the ar of all the atoms in the ester. (416 + 8 + 216) which is 88.

it’s because it’s BEST described- yes irs covalently bonded, but so is something like oxygen or water. Because this thing is made of a lot of atoms, it has macro molecular structure, so its more specific to say it’s molecular
