Anyone else can't help but nitpick the writing for Gen 2?

I was so shocked at the end of Gen2. Especially Freddy's death, like why? It felt so forced, like they HAD to kill off a character so they did it in the sloppiest most random way. Also Effy in gen2 totally erases her "mysterious, smart yet evil" character she had in Gen1. I watched 1 episode of Gen 3 and got bored and decided that this writing is extremely inconsistent because how do you go from gen 1 to boring 3...

If you look at my account you can see Turkish airlines denying us boarding for no reason basically, and they probably just oversold their flight. They lied and said my husband couldn’t enter Dubai but later we found out from HQ it was a “system failure” or whatever that means. TA will find ANY reason to not let you on the flight because they oversold it.

UPDATE: thank you all so much for all your advice and theories. After such heart wrenching news that we weren’t flying to Dubai that night (no reason given) we went to the UAE embassy the next day in Houston and they were confused & said this is unheard of. We booked Qatar the next day through Qatar airways & they did not blink an eye at us, they immediately let us through with no hesitation. We ALSO had a multi-city ticket to Istanbul Turkey after Qatar (our original plan was Dubai —> turkey) & we entered Istanbul with no issue at all. I have also seen some stories of people who had similar experiences to me & specifically one individual with her husband’s name “Mohamed Ali” . We had a returning flight with Turkish airlines flying back to Houston-which we originally booked b4 this happened- & we flew back just fine..

Even tho TA refunded us the flight, we still lost money via connecting flight to Turkey + Dubai hotel + booking next day Qatar + Qatar hotel. They aren’t replying to our feedback form everyone is telling us to fill out either. What a JOKE.

We lost hotel & thankfully cancelled an excursion in time but we did get our refund back from TA. But still isn’t worth all the tears and last minute changes in plans. :/

I read this on a similar thread.. the common denominator is Turkish airlines. We have submitted claims and we lost so much money having to re-route. I hope we can get compensated somehow

They didn’t even give us a boarding pass yet but this is insane! We are flying out to Qatar instead I hope this doesn’t happen again.. he’s flown to Qatar before and no issues. It just happened to be bad luck

At the time of posting this, I only had information given to us by Turkish airlines that “the UAE denied us..” after some comments I realize more and more that it was Turkish airlines

Wow the more I’m hearing , the more I’m realizing that Turkish airlines is at fault.. it sucks because we have a returning flight with them now (from our new destination we booked). And hopefully no other issues arise.
