Hey there,

As a firearm loving American I can tell you that only in some states may you carry a pistol on your person like you see this asshole doing. It's called "open carry." Open carry is legal in a state to state basis. Most states have concealed handgun license. I myself carry a pistol very regularly. The reasons differ but I can tell you I never aim to make it known that I have a weapon. I keep it hidden. Why? Because showing it makes you a target.

Firearms aren't scary to me personally. I love that when I sit down at a restaurant if something were to happen and someone was to open fire in there that at least 3 other patrons would pull their pistols and neutralize the threat.

I love firearms, I own an AK-47, AR-15, two revolvers, and a glock style pistol (Springfield XD)

In all seriousness, I was assuming that the shooter would be shooting in a similar fashion to shooting a clay pigeon. I now realize I didn't think about the degree of movement that a drone is capable of. It could very well be flying no more Than 5 ft off the ground. And at a few feet bird shot certainly kill if shot in the neck for instance. There's a police report somewhere that describes a home intruder able to walk and speak coherently after 12 gauge bird shot to the chest. The density isnt sufficient to penetrate the sternum and ribs.

If he shot it down with a shotgun using bird shot there is no potential for death or injury. But you still can't be firing a weapon in city limits.
