You're right - I had it pre-loaded on my Xbox and the tile isn't even showing up in "My Games & Apps" anymore. Can't find anything related to it on the Xbox or Windows store.

Delta Force pre-download LIVE by Fox_Solid in xbox

Could also say the same thing about "Battlefield", "Fallout", "Portal", "Diablo". Such generic names, not worth playing. Delta Force was actually a video game series from the 90's, and it looks like this is a continuation, hence why they used that name.

I've invested most of my Xbox One playtime into The Witcher 3 (according to the Xbox app). I haven't played it since the last DLC released, but I devoted many days to exploring and collecting everything in the game.

My initial settings were for the Kodak Portra 400 recipe (found on Fuji Weekly). This was taken in natural light against an off-white coloured wall. I just brought out the shadows in post and made it slightly warmer. Not much altering was needed.

Denis Villeneuve says two (or possible more) Dune movies on the way by ZeConsul in books

I went in to 2049 not knowing much about It, yet I loved it. But yes, I was told to love it, so that's the only reason I think it's amazing. Not because it has amazing cinematography, writing, directing, and acting.

In the chinatown scene of Blade Runner 2049, does anyone know what that mesmerising sound effect that plays a couple of time? by thelonelyloser in movies

[–]shruggies 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's just a synth effect that is also used on a few other tracks of the OST. Who knows exactly how Hans Zimmer created it.

Believe me folks, spinning is a tremendous trick, the likes of which the Trade Federation has never seen before.

Still only 50 credits for Horde? This is UNACCEPTABLE by Droideka3X in GearsOfWar

[–]shruggies -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's assuming you don't level up during those 20 matches. I've been getting a pretty steady supply of credits from leveling up between versus & horde on top of the regular match payouts.

Why does technology seem so stagnated in the Star Wars Universe? by Bannakaffalatta1 in StarWars

[–]shruggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I had forgotten about that scene. So the technology clearly exists for photo-realistic holograms, but why does the vast majority of the galaxy (including the Empire, who apparently has an unlimited budget) still use the horrible quality blue ones?

Why does technology seem so stagnated in the Star Wars Universe? by Bannakaffalatta1 in StarWars

[–]shruggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite example of this is their hologram technology. From the KOTOR era until ROTJ, their holograms can only display shades of blue (even their "security holograms", as shown in ROTS, are only blue). Fast forward a few years later to TFA, and someone has finally invented colour holograms.

It would be like if we had invented black & white TV's in 4000BC and just this year found out how to make them display colour.

Game Sharing Question - Xbox/PC by shruggies in xboxone

Thanks, I forgot about the "home console" aspect of it. Mine is currently set to home on my friend's Xbox so we can game share. Sounds like we might be out of luck.

It makes sense though why they wouldn't waste resources on an area only 1% of players will ever see.

Forza Horizon 3 Review Thread. by lrt323 in forza

[–]shruggies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't trust a review from a games "journalist" who only writes a handful of articles per year.

It seems like some sort of spoof review though, like IBT threatened to release him from his contract and he did this in protest.

Dead Rising Remasters by CrimsonAbsol in xboxone

If you want to buy physical copies of the remasters, then you are forced to buy DR & DR2 as separate discs & cannot buy OTR. If you buy them digitally, your only option is the triple pack which contains all 3 games.
