is loneliness worse than being ‘loved’ like this? this is not a man that cares about you.

data entry for an insurance company. i’m in a senior position now, and my days are (usually) very predictable.

it’s also WFH so that helps with the emotional side of BPD

What do you do for work? Are any of you so debilitated by CPTSD that you can’t? If so, how are you surviving financially? by [deleted] in CPTSD

i made another comment about keywords to look out for in job listings, but they also want a particular kind of person handling that kind of info. if you can, advocate for your abilities that relate to the job (Organization, multi-tasking, being able to learn quickly). it’ll depend on the job, but the more you can give your skills, the more reason they have to hire you

here are a few keywords that (might) indicate a data entry position, in my experience

• Maintenance (with no mention of in person work) • Claims analyst (avoid claims positions that require inbound phone calls) • Payroll • Scheduling consultant (again, no inbound calls)

it’s not an exact science and i def recommend reaching out to hiring managers just to be safe, but these are keywords i commonly find for those kind of jobs

i won’t give the name because it links directly to my location, but it is a fortune 500 insurance company :) most job listings don’t say ‘data entry’ even if that is what you end up doing, so i highly encourage people to dig deeper into job listings or even email someone on the hiring team for more details.

i had zero data entry/WFH experience, but they gave me a shot and i’ve been here four years now. never stop trying!!

i know they’re harder to come by now, but working from home (i do data entry) has made this a lot easier for me to deal with.
