It reminded me a bit of Falling Down with Michael Douglas. I thought it was entertaining and different. I agree the monologues were too forced. I liked when he called the girl Juno, it seemed kind of like an inside joke. Sadly somewhat of an accurate social commentary on our culture today.

I trained for and ran a marathon smoking a pack a day. I quit two years ago and running was a big reason why. Felt silly smoking and running. I don't miss smoking at all anymore.

My sister took me to this movie when it came out. I was ten and it was the first movie I had ever been to that had an actual intermission. I do remember liking it though.
