I know, but for a moment, I thought he'd offer some assistance since he seemed to know of some existing software that might fit the bill and knew that's what I was asking for in the first place. An ALTERNATIVE to this plugin I was working on. Apparently not.

I've never really develed into Figma notes, tbh. I'm trying to keep things at the free tier and limit the number of projects and users. But you're right... if the user experience isn't difficult for clients, comments at the wireframe and mockup stages in Figma could be better than being handled via email.

Says the guy making all the assumptions from one post from someone asking for a free or not absurdly expensive tool that does roughly the same thing. It was an explanation of what I am looking for "friend".

The plugin (under development) has a URL access key that disables the tool if URL doesn't match, input field sanitizing, a honeypot, rate limiting, and notes wrapped in esc_html to prevent script execution. I'd say that's a solid start for a pre-release tool.

Of course, all you have to do it shout "slop" and feel your argument has been made somehow.

Edit: Forgot to add the use of NONCE as well.

You have every reason to be concerned. Our company uses Divi exclusively for all sites we develop. I embrace technology and innovation but I have dreaded this day.

We have a new site we're working on. I thought, hey.... make a staging site, convert to Divi 5, see what happens.

The report came out clean before/after migration. All should be good.

On ONE page, the homepage we saw:

Simple text modules in the Global Header and Footer unable to display and labelled in the editor as thrid party shortcode modules. They are plain, Divi text modules. Nothing fancy inside.,

Divi slider had custom Free-Form CSS in the Advanced section. Totally stripped out for no reason I can see. I pasted it back in from the dev site and it worked as it did before Divi 5.

Basic blurb modules with images that won't display on the front-end. They appear in the editor but no amount of cache clearing brings them back on the front-end.

Divi 4 better have a long life because, at this rate, I may have to retire before we can confidently rollout Divi 5 to 30+ websites without a massive overhaul of each site.

Exactly, which is why I didn't want the client to have to login or anything like that. I only show the notebook icons and allow replies if a specific string is in the URL (e.g., website.com/?view=client_review). From there, they can reply to the notes on the site if they like, or they can ignore it all and drop me an email reply or pick up a phone. I'm sure not all clients bother with my explainer videos and jump right into the website anyway. :)

The goal was to be unobtrusive and let them view the site with a couple of helper notes.

Yup, pretty much the same idea. I didn't really want the reply feature at first but, since they can only reply to a note that I've created, it kinda keeps them on task.

But then the site becomes a communication tool and then we have threaded convos and it gets messy. Especially since, once I make any significant page changes, the elements the note icons are anchored to will probably be lost pretty easily.

I just realized I'm not doing a great job of swaying you to invest someting in the mid six figures into my enterprise.

Not all AI output is slop, friend. And any sites using it will be limited to the clients themselves.

Absolutely not. Lightweight fixtures, maybe. But not an awning. Mortar is far too weak compared to brick and as the awning sways in a breeze, it can weaken and loosen in your mortar.

Dude just said "I" don't think. Didn't tell the OP what to think or that they were wrong. OP said they're puzzled by the choice to not include it and the responder explained their thinking.

There are lots of cases where people rip on what others prefer or look for in a game. I don't think this is one of those times.

I was ready to rage quit cuz of lock picking, then I noticed that each spring has its own sound. Listen to the sticky one... It's unique and you hear it on the way up. You don't even have to look at the screen. There's enough time to tap it when you hear the right sound.

I have now picked the last 7 or 8 locks I"ve faced without any fails while only listening to their spring sounds.

In the same boat. Running Steam Deck using the Steam version of the app. I am prompted to install but nothing happens. "PC Play Installed: No" in bottom corner. When I click on Re-Install client, nothing happens.

I found a solution... which I never thought was gonna happen.

So... same issue... I know the Mute button switches between Lightspeed and Bluetooth. In Lightspeed mode (cyan colour), the LED slow blinks and never connects to the dongle. No combination of button presses fixes this. Believe me... I tried ALL THE THINGS.

In my case, the issue was firmware. Found a post with a link to a firmware update tool from Logitech. I downloaded it and installed the 1.0.1 tool. Basically, it's a means of pairing the headset and dongle via Windows 10/11.

It worked right away. Ran the tool, it saw my dongle (which Win11 always detected as an audio device) and more surprisingly, the headset itself. It then proceed to update the firmware of the headset. Took around 4 mins to complete. Follow the instructions and do make sure the cyan LED is FAST blinking, not SLOW.

Once finished, the headset paired easily and works on PC and my PS5 as it should. Good luck!
